Description

They're Spreading, creeping, or trailing perennial herb that has Fleshy branched stems often rooting at the nodes forming leaves are simple, alternate,lanceolate to ovate with small, delicate flowers usually blue to purple.with three petals.

Common Characteristics

Grows in moist, disturbed places e.h gardens, roadside etc
Spreads rapidly by growing stems and seeds.
Thrives well in both direct and indirect sunlight.

Benefits and Uses
Known for their Anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.

Decoctions of the plant are used to treat fever, sore throat, wounds, and urinary infections.

Can be used to treat skin infections.

Young leaves can be eaten as vegetable under caution

Provides ground cover, helping prevent erosion.

Supports pollinators as butterfly with it's flowers
