Lesser dart butterfly

On a green leaf still damp with morning dew, I found a lesser dart butterfly waiting for the sun to shine. Its wings were tightly closed, seemingly chilled by the wind. Even I, wearing a thick jacket, felt the chill to the bone. Especially since it was relying solely on its feathers, it was certainly very cold. But it didn't complain at all, remaining relaxed on the leaf.

I stood near the butterfly for over ten minutes, hoping it would open its wings. But it refused to open its wings for me at all. Only its antennae moved frequently. The movements were very gentle, as if it was signaling that it wouldn't reveal the beauty of its wing patterns to me.

In fact, this pose of its wings tightly closed is just as beautiful as its open ones. Both have their own allure. This pose feels softer and more calming, like drops of light falling from the morning sun. Its color is also very beautiful, a brownish orange blending beautifully with the neatly arranged black spots.

She seem have a bit of fur-like feathers suitable for the chilly weather.

Yes it is true he has a little thicker fur, a jacket for winter

How interesting that this butterfly remained like that despite your presence. Lately, I've found it impossible to photograph butterflies in peace, haha.

Yes, I was lucky to find it. There were also many others who just danced in front of me. Thank you for your presence, friend.

I love that you take the time to wait for a good shot, even though in the end the butterfly didn't want to pose any other way 😅 Not only is she beautiful, but the photograph is too; I love how her earthy tones stand out against the damp green. Great job my friend!...

He's in a cocky mode, refusing to open his wings for me. But that pose is also quite beautiful. Glad to know you like it. Thanks, friend.
