I know that everyone here is focused on Zingtober, but unfortunately I had to sit this one out for physical reasons (I injured myself a month ago and I'm still not completely comfortable drawing with my hand).

For this piece, I returned to traditional sketching in order to better design the character. I wanted to recreate a cat about to attack, but I don't think I quite succeeded.
After taking a photo of the drawing, I worked on the outline directly on the photo using the final colours, omitting the black line art.
Once the initial colouring was done, I proceeded to draw the entire movement of the tail in its phases (I know I could have done more or given it more dynamic shapes, but I'm not quite skilled enough yet, but I'll be back soon).
After that, I began to define the lights.
Once I had all the phases I wanted, I moved on to a commercial GIF creator where I saved the images in the order I wanted, and you already know the final result.
Here is a screenshot of all the phases I generated. The Cs represent the running sequence and the Ds represent the transitions (I needed to make more transitions).
