A fantasy version of healer of light

Hello very good evening to all of you. Today I wanted to make my fan art in a style that I like very much, I have been practicing several styles and although realism is my favorite, I wanted to mix a little of that with fantasy, this time I chose to make a healer of light in combination with a small dragon of Grass type inside a ball of light in fetal position, as if it were a dragon egg and that is about to be born with the help of the light and warmth that transmits healer of light, maybe my idea was too cheesy but I found it quite tender, I really thought about which of the dragons to integrate to this drawing because I wanted the color to combine with the shades that I was going to use and this dragon in fact does not combine too much but I associated the green shade with the yellow one, since they are colors that are quite close to each other, although I feel that the color of the dragon breaks a little the nostalgic vibe of the drawing I still liked it a lot, at the end of the day art has no rules. And well, also at the end I made a background that, although it is simple I loved it, I wanted it to have texture and small cream colored lights around the silhouette and it turned out quite well, I hope you like it.

Hoy mi fan art lo quise hacer de un estilo que me gusta muchisimo, he estado practicando varios estilos y aunque el realismo es mi favorito, quise mezclar un poco de eso con fantasía, en esta oportunidad elegí hacer a healer of light en combinación con un pequeño dragón de tipos Grass dentro de una bola de luz en posición fetal, como si fuese un huevo de dragón y que esta a punto de nacer con la ayuda de la luz y calidez que le transmite healer of light, quizás mi idea fue demasiado cursi pero me pareció bastante tierno, realmente pensé en cual de los dragones integrar a este dibujo porque quería que el color combinara con las tonalidades que iba a usar y este dragón de hecho no combina demasiado pero asocie la tonalidad verde con la amarilla, ya que son colores que son bastante cercanos entre sí, a pesar de que siento que el color del dragón rompe un poco la vibra nostálgica del dibujo igualmente me gusto bastante, al final del día el arte no tiene reglas.
Y bueno, tambien al final hice un fondo que, aunque es sencillo me encanto, quise que tuviese textura y pequeñas iluminaciones color crema alrededor de la silueta y resulto bastante bien, espero que les guste.

Process/Proceso

I made my sketch and this time I wanted to make Healer of light with short hair, a suit similar to the original but not 100% similar, I started to apply color to the skin using pink, brown skin tones and also some parts in cream color, in a new layer I added more colors to give a better shape to the whole face and hands, I painted the clothes using a very desaturated and opaque lilac color, the ball I painted it using a peach color, then I began to detail better each part of the drawing starting with the skin, leaving a little softer texture, the clothes are always quite difficult for me, but I started to make many dark stripes and other lighter ones and I began to see the shape of the costume, that's how I managed to draw the folds of the dress, for the hair I used very light tones that simulate blond hair, it is also complicated to work this type of hair and it took me a long time to fix it.

Realice mi boceto y en esta oportunidad quise hacer a Healer of light con cabello corto, un traje similar al original pero no al 100% parecido, empecé a aplicar color a la piel usando tonalidades piel rosas, marrones y también algunas partes en color crema, en una nueva capa añadí más colores para darle una mejor forma a todo el rostro y manos, pinte la ropa usando un color lila muy desaturado y opaco, la bola la pinte usando un color durazno, luego comencé a detallar mejor cada parte del dibujo comenzando por la piel, dejándole una textura un poco más suave, la ropa siempre se me hace bastante difícil, pero empecé a realizar muchas rayas oscuras y otras más claras y empecé a verle forma al vestuario, asi fue como logre dibujar los pliegues del vestido, para el cabello use tonos muy claros que simularan un cabello rubio, tambien es complicado trabajar este tipo de cabellos y me tarde muchísimo tiempo en arreglarlo.

The hair color confused me too much in combination with the gray background, so I changed the background to a dark brown tone a little desaturated to continue working better, finish the details of the dress and continue with the dragon, which I painted with very saturated greens, pinks and a little blue for the belly, I didn't really take so long on this part because they are details that you can't see too much from far away and don't need to stylize too much, I added a little more color to the face and painted the tiara and for this point I thought of adding a little more color to the background because it looked too flat, then I took a cream tone and with a low opacity I began to integrate it along with the brown, I also added small points of light that are bouncing around of different sizes and intensity of illumination, and speaking of lighting, something that can not miss in my drawings are those small points of light that I like to add both in the skin and in parts of the clothes and obviously the dragon sphere, finally edit the image to my liking, giving it a little more contrast, modifying the clarity of the drawing so that the strokes can be a bit more noticeable and a color adjustment.

El color del cabello me confundía demasiado en combinación con el fondo gris, por eso cambie el fondo a un tono marrón oscuro un poco desaturado para seguir trabajando mejor, termine los detalles del vestido y continue con el dragón, el cual pinte con verdes muy saturados, rosas y un poco de azul para la pancita, realmente no me tarde tanto en esta parte porque son detalles que no se ve demasiado de lejos y no necesita estilizar demasiado, agregue un poco más de color al rostro y pinte la tiara y para este punto se me ocurrió agregar un poco más de color en el fondo ya que se veía muy plano, entonces tome un tono crema y con una opacidad baja comencé a integrarlo junto con el marrón, tambien añadí pequeños puntos de luz que van rebotando alrededor de diferentes tamaños e intensidad de iluminación, y hablando de iluminación, algo que no puede faltar en mis dibujos son esos pequeños puntos de luz que me gusta agregar tanto en la piel como en partes de la ropa y obviamente la esfera de dragón, finalmente edite la imagen a mi gusto, dándole un poco más de contraste, modificando la claridad del dibujo para que puedan un poco más notorios los trazos y un ajuste de color.
