Magical iridescent | Ocean healer

Wow! I haven't done a fan art for a long time and besides that it's been a long time since I did a colorful drawing, recently I've been focusing on darker art, but there are days where I find myself in the mood for something different and especially for a fanart, this time I chose Ocean Healer which I always like to portray with holographic colors I feel she is the one that best combines with this rainbow color vibe and it was quite a challenge, the portrait was not as difficult as the background, in which I had to use almost all possible colors to achieve that effect of iridescent fabric, I wanted it to look like she is lying on a very striking place where lights and colors are the protagonists, I am very happy with the result, I hope you like it.

¡Wow! Tenía mucho tiempo sin hacer un fan art y además de eso hace mucho tiempo que no hacia un dibujo colorido, recientemente me he enfocado en arte un poco más oscura, pero hay días donde me encuentro de ánimos para algo diferente y sobre todo para un fanart, esta vez elegí a Ocean Healer a la cual siempre me gusta retratar con colores holográficos siento que es la que mejor combina con esta vibra de colores arcoíris y fue todo un reto, el retrato no fue tan difícil como el fondo, en el cual tuve que usar casi todos los colores posibles para lograr ese efecto de tela iridiscente, quería que pareciera que esta recostada sobre un lugar muy llamativo donde la luces y colores son los protagonistas, estoy muy feliz del resultado, espero que les guste.

Proceso/Process

I started this drawing yesterday and finished it today, yesterday I started with the simplest thing which would be the sketch and paint the face, for which I chose saturated shades between reds, pinks and oranges, in a new layer I added more colors to completely form the face and hand, then I started to mix them until I left a smooth texture, I painted the hair in dark blue and added highlights with a light blue.

Comencé este dibujo ayer y lo termine el día de hoy, ayer comencé por lo más sencillo que sería el boceto y pintar el rostro, para el cual elegí tonalidades saturadas entre rojos, rosas y naranjas, en una nueva capa añadí más colores para formar por completo el rostro y la mano, luego empecé a mezclarlos hasta dejar una textura suave, pinte el cabello de azul oscuro y agregue iluminaciones con un azul claro.

For today I started painting the rest of the drawing, I started with the clothes, which also cost me a lot, I made them in different colors and none of them convinced me, I also tried to change the design but it was a complete fail, in the end I liked dark blue tones and I added different shades of light, for the background I put a pink base and then I started to add many colors, blue, red, pink, orange, purple and yellow, I added another layer where I zoomed and started to mix all the colors and add new ones until I gave a texture of iridescent fabric all around, it was complicated and I was about to give up but I really wanted this result, finally I did it and started to add illuminations in the face, hair and eyes, I also drew a seashell in the hair using the same tones that I used in the background to give the same holographic effect, to finish I edited the image adding a very slight diffuse effect in the edges of the image and also adjusting the color to give it a little more saturation.

Para el día de hoy me ocupe de comenzar a pintar el resto del dibujo, empecé por la ropa, la cual tambien me costó muchísimo, la hice de diferentes colores y ninguna me convencía, tambien intente cambiar el diseño pero fue un completo fail, al final me gusto de tonalidades azules oscuras y le agregue iluminaciones de diferentes tonos, para el fondo coloque una base rosa y luego empecé a agregar muchísimos colores, azules, rojos, rosados, naranjas, morados, amarillos, agregue otra capa donde hice zoom y empecé a mezclar todos los colores y agregar nuevos hasta darle una textura de tela iridiscente a todo alrededor, fue complicado y estuve a punto de rendirme pero enserio deseaba este resultado, finalmente lo logre y comencé a agregar iluminaciones en el rostro, cabello, y ojos, tambien dibuje una concha marina en el cabello usando los mismos tonos que utilice en el fondo para darle igualmente ese efecto holográfico, para finalizar edite la imagen agregando un efecto difuso muy leve en las orillas de la imagen y tambien ajustando el color para darle un poco más de saturación
