Hi guys~~ ^^
Here’s my drawing of Emberox, the fire dragon from Holozing. It’s been months that I wanted to draw the Holozing dragons but I wasn’t confident. I always draw humans so drawing the other creatures was a new challenge. I wanted to try so I chose the fire dragon among the others and it was yesterday that I finished the sketch and today I started coloring the dragon.
For coloring, I used different shades of red and orange to color the skin and after shading and highlighting I used a textured brush to add skin texture, I lowered the opacity to make it look more natural. After that, I worked on the horns and then went on coloring the fire that is coming out of the dragon’s mouth. I really liked working on this portrait of the Emberox and I hope you also enjoyed it ^^

Thank you so much and sorry for replying your comment a little too late. I just noticed your comment. I use a soft airbrush to color the shape of the fire and then to add the details I use a light brush to draw the fiery lines or you can set the layer on “add” and use a normal ink brush. After that, I draw lots of little dots around the fire. Hope it helps ^^ If you have any other questions you can ask me.
