Siempre me gusta tener una historia detrás de mis dibujos, y esta trata sobre un sentimiento con el que muchos podemos identificarnos. El personaje está en una fiesta de disfraces, pero no se siente parte de ella. Está sentada sola, esperando que la noche termine para poder irse a casa. Todos los demás invitados están disfrazados, y este momento de quietud captura ese sentimiento de ser un extraño en una multitud. ¡Espero que se conecten con esta emoción y que les guste el dibujo! 💖
I always like to have a story behind my drawings, and this one is about a feeling I think many of us can relate to. The character is at a masquerade party, but she doesn't feel like she belongs. She's sitting by herself, just waiting for the night to end so she can go home. All the other guests are in disguise, and this character's quiet moment captures that feeling of being an outsider in a big crowd. I hope you connect with this emotion and enjoy the drawing! 💖

cero. Tal vez no se vea muy llamativa, pero encaja perfectamente con el dibujo. Comencé el boceto en papel y luego lo pasé a Krita, el programa que estoy usando últimamente porque funciona muy bien con mi PC. Una vez allí, corregí el lineart y empecé a pintar. Primero la piel, luego la máscara, y después la ropa. También agregué las sombras adecuadas usando una capa de multiplicar para darle ese toque final.
The idea for this drawing started out simple. I used some reference images for the character and designed the mask from scratch. It might not look super fancy, but it fits the drawing perfectly! I started the sketch on paper before moving it to Krita, the program I've been using lately because it works great on my PC. Once I had it in Krita, I cleaned up the line art and started adding color. First the skin, then the mask, and then the clothing. I also added proper shadows using a multiply layer to give it a finished look.

Para el fondo, usé uno antiguo que ya tenía y añadí una mesa para crear la escena de ella en una pequeña barra, esperando una bebida. La luz de una lámpara la ilumina, y su expresión seria muestra que solo está esperando pacientemente a que el momento pase. Para terminar, agregué una última capa de multiplicar para que toda la pieza se viera unificada. ✨ Y eso es todo. De verdad, espero que les guste mi trabajo y le den mucho apoyo. Creo que me tomaré un par de días para descansar y recargar energías antes de volver con más arte para todos ustedes. ¡Nos vemos pronto! 😊
For the background, I used an old backdrop I had and added a table in front to create the scene of her at a small bar counter, waiting for a drink. The light from a lamp is hitting her, and her serious expression really shows that she's just patiently waiting for the moment to pass. To finish, I added one last multiply layer to make the entire piece feel cohesive. ✨
