Hello everyone, today I finished a new illustration that I am very pleased with. It is inspired by a very unique character called Xolo, a mystical dog that is part of the Holozing video game universe.
In the world of Holozing, Xolo is a normal creature, fast and agile, and one of the first to learn the Bite move. We really liked the Xolo breed and thought it would be a good combination with an Egyptian touch for the style of this creature.
What I enjoyed most about creating this illustration was capturing the intensity of its gaze and playing with the color palette to convey its essence. To achieve this, I looked for visual references to help me shape it. While browsing Pinterest, I found an image that I really liked, and that was the main starting point for this illustration.
Hola a todos, el dia de hoy he finalizado una nueva ilustración que me ha dejado muy satisfecho. Está inspirada en un personaje muy particular llamado Xolo, un perro místico que forma parte del universo del videojuego Holozing.
El nombre Xolo segun en el mundo de Holozing se trata de una criatura de tipo normal, rápida y ágil, y una de las primeras en aprender el movimiento Mordisco. Nos gustó mucho la raza Xolo y pensamos que sería una buena combinación con un toque egipcio para el estilo de esta criatura.
Lo que más disfruté al crear esta ilustración fue captar la intensidad de su mirada y jugar con la paleta de colores para transmitir su esencia. Para lograrlo, busqué referencias visuales que me ayudaran a darle forma. Navegando por Pinterest encontré una imagen que me gusto mucho, y esa fue lo principal para empezar en esta ilustracion.
Process
Based on that reference, I began working on the sketch of the drawing, refining details that make Xolo unique. I am excited to share with you several images that show step by step how this work evolved.
A partir de esa referencia, comencé a trabajar en el boceto del dibujo, afinando detalles que hacen único a Xolo. Me entusiasma compartir con ustedes varias imágenes que muestran paso a paso cómo fue evolucionando esta obra.
