Hi there Holozing community hope I could jump in on this art contest as a self-proclaimed artist my self, I think this week's art contest is interesting as one dream of mine as kid was to design my own pokemon and flex it to the public as a long time pokemon fan. Thanks to the decentralization of hive and holozing participating on a drawing contest like this is open to the public specially for hivers. Without further a do I chose Raccomon as my subject that in which i drew a supposedly evolve form of this cute little grass raccoon, one of the reasons i picked him is i like rocket from Guardians of the Galaxy franchise as well as grass type monsters are much more interesting to design in my own opinion because you could have a lot of inspirations from them.
Before i explain my drawing process let me share some of the inspirations or vibes that i incorporated in my design of Raccomon King. From the first time I've heard from @tpkidkai that there is an art contest in this community i think of designing a monster with an afro hairstyle and what luck to be the theme for this week is to design an evolve form of current holozing monsters. I also incorporate weepinbell/victreebell-like vines as Raccomon King's weapon and design it like a twin spikeball but instead of spikeballs at the end i draw monster-eating plants to stay with the concept of grass-type monsters and with that let's head on to the process.
It actually took me a lot of trial and errors in the design of Raccomon King and here is the one i chose, firstly i use a drawing tablet which is a small size screen of 12 inches XP-Pen Artist 12 and the software i used is adobe photoshop.
Now the process starts with i draw a rough draft of Raccomon King in blue color he has a crown with a leaf emblem at the center and just like what I've mentioned earlier he has an afro hair but also serves as a bush so that the concept remained that he is really a grass type monster.
After that i draw black lines over it to create a more defined and clean lineart so it will be easier for me to color the subject later on...

Then after that i started coloring Raccomon King almost the same color palette of Raccomon starting with the face tho i change it a little bit by turning his face into full greeny color except for the brows. Now i also design the tail to be little bit more longer and decided to put a flower at the end of the tail which already bloomed which symbolizes evolved form in this case.

Now this is the shading process i just put a 25% opacity of black color on top of it all
Now this is the highlight process i just put a 25% opacity of white color on top of it all this time
Just put some minor finishing touch and voila this is the final result thanks to @blind-spot for this amazing contest!

Ganda ng drawing! From being a cute racoon, raccomon evolved into something quite ferocious. There's still touch of being cute thanks to the flowers on it's tail pero this one's nice ha evolve kung evolve.
