Holozing: I Opened All My Alpha Vials! Drops & Strategy Update

Today I return to write about Holozing which is one of the projects under development that I follow with great interest.

If you don't know Holozing you should know that it is a Hive-based project of a Pokemon-style RPG game (Web3 enabled monster catching, training, and battling game).

Holozing is not yet playable, but I hope it will be soon because I am a Hive-based games lover and because there are no Pokemon-style RPG games on Hive.

On November 2, 2025, the opening of Alpha Vials, Holozing's starter packs, was implemented.

On November 23, the distribution of ZING tokens between closed Alpha Vials and items contained in Alpha Vials changed from 50%/50% to 30%/70%:

Unopened Alpha Vials: 30%
Items contained in Alpha Vials: 70%.

After this change, I chose to open four of my 8 Alpha Vials (November 25, 2025).

The decision to open 4 of the 8 Alpha Vials instead of keeping them all closed proved to be the right one based on the ZING token earnings I obtained.

In fact, on November 25, with 8 Alpha Vials closed, my ZING token earnings were 12.79 ZING per hour = 307.12 ZING per day.

With 4 Alpha Vials open and 4 closed, my earnings have practically doubled: 25,840 ZING per hour = 620.16 ZING per day

On November 25, 2025, out of 4144 Alpha Vials sold:

1995 had been opened
2149 were unopened

Today, December 9, 2025, out of 4190 Alpha Vials sold:

2113 have been opened
2077 are unopened

November 25, 2025	December 9, 2025

During this time period:

46 additional Alpha Vials were sold
118 additional Alpha Vials were opened

The ZING token reward for each unopened Alpha Vial has increased slightly: 69.79 ZING per day -> 72.21 ZING per day

Today, December 9, 2025, 1 unopened Alpha Vial allows you to receive 72.21954 ZING per day = 0.10284 SWAP.HIVE = $0.01100

If I leave my 4 Alpha Vials unopened, I would earn about 288.84 ZING per day, but since the 4 opened Alpha Vials allow me to earn about 304.41 ZING per day, I decided to open all the Alpha Vials in my possession.

To open 4 Alpha Vials, I went to the Inventory->Others section and clicked on OPEN

On the next screen, I clicked on Open Cube and then clicked Confirm on Hive Keychain.

In Alpha Vials, you can find 1 creature, items, and consumables.

Consumables have no weight in the distribution of ZING tokens, while for all other items, the weight has been indicated in this post: Zing Collection Rewards for creatures & items are now live!

In the images below, you can see what I found in the four Alpha Vials I opened today.

After opening the 4 Alpha Vials in the Creatures and Items sections of my Inventory, I could see all the creatures and items I had found.

Now I have at least one copy of each of the four different types of creatures:

I conclude this post by showing my journey in the 2025 Advent Calendar.

Unfortunately, I forgot to make the claim on December 5, so I lost a claim, but I will try to be regular and consistent with the claims for the next days.

Holozing: Ho Aperto Tutti i Miei Alpha Vials! Cosa Ho Trovato & Aggiornamento Strategia

Oggi ritorno a scrivere su Holozing che è uno dei progetti in fase di sviluppo che seguo con molto interesse.

Se non conosci Holozing devi sapere che è un progetto Hive-based di un gioco RPG stile Pokemon (Web3 enabled monster catching, training, and battling game).

Holozing non è ancora giocabile ma spero lo diventi presto perchè sono un Hive-based games lover e perchè su Hive non ci sono giochi RPG Pokemon-style.

Il 2 novembre 2025 è stata implementata l'apertura degli Alpha Vials, gli starter packs di Holozing.

Il 23 novembre la distribuzione dei token ZING tra gli Alpha Vials chiusi e gli elementi contenuti negli Alpha Vials è passata dal 50%/50% al 30%/70%:

Dopo questo cambio ho scelto di aprire quattro dei miei 8 Alpha Vials (25 novembre 2025).

Ho condiviso le mie motivazioni e cosa ho trovato all'interno dei 4 Alpha Vials che ho aperto nel post che puoi leggere cliccando sul prossimo link.

La decisione di aprire 4 degli 8 Alpha Vials invece di tenerli tutti chiusi si è rivelata corretta in base al guadagno in token ZING che ho ottenuto.

Infatti il 25 novembre, con 8 Alpha Vials chiusi, il mio guadagno in token ZING era di 12.797 ZING per ora = 307.12 ZING al giorno.

Con 4 Alpha Vials aperti e 4 chiusi il mio guadagno è praticamente raddoppiato: 25.840 ZING per ora = 620.16 ZING al giorno

Il 25 novembre 2025 su 4144 Alpha Vials venduti:

1995 erano stati aperti
2149 erano non aperti

Oggi 9 dicembre 2025 su 4190 Alpha Vials venduti:

Oggi 9 dicembre 2025 1 Alpha Vials unopened permette di ricevere 72.21954 ZING al giorno = 0.10284 SWAP.HIVE = 0.01100$

Se lascio i miei 4 Alpha Vials non aperti guadagnerei circa 288.84 ZING al giorno ma, dato che i 4 Alpha Vials aperti mi permettono di guadagnare circa 304.41 ZING al giorno, ho deciso di aprire tutti gli Alpha Vials in mio possesso.

Per aprire 4 Alpha Vials sono andato nella sezione Inventory->Others e ho cliccato su OPEN

Nella schermata successiva ho cliccato su Open Cube e poi ho cliccato Confirm su Hive Keychain.

Negli Alpha Vials è possibile trovare 1 creatura, items e consumabili.

I consumabili non hanno peso nella distribuzione dei token ZING mentre per tutti gli altri elementi il peso è stato indicato in questo post: Zing Collection Rewards for creatures & items are now live!

Nelle prossime immagini puoi vedere cosa ho trovato nei quattro Alpha Vials che ho aperto oggi.

Dopo l'apertura dei 4 Alpha Vials nelle sezioni Creatures e Items del mio Inventory ho potuto vedere tutte le creature e gli elementi che ho trovato.

Adesso ho almeno una copia per ognuna delle quattro tipologie diverse di creature:

Purtroppo mi sono dimenticato di fare il Claim il giorno 5 dicembre e quindi ho perso un claim ma cercherò di essere regolare e costante per i claim dei prossimi giorni.

One thing to note is that having some extra vials for the future might be worth it, in case the game does well we've definitely made sure there'll be demand for them later due to scarcity. Maybe always chasing highest zing returns may due to that not be the best choice, or to at least get a few before they sell out - but we'll definitely announce the end date in time.

We're currently working on beta vials and new designs for starter items as well as beta starter creatures, no date of when this change will occur but we definitely want it to happen the latest when the game is playable!

It looks like opening the vials increased your earnings quite a bit, but I guess it also boosted those who were holding onto them. That ratio seems to be going up slowly over time too.
