Ermy Animated Style

Hello everyone, my name is Lorentm, and I’m delighted to welcome you to my art blog. Today I want to share with you a digital piece that has filled me with joy and excitement. I’ve created a fan art based on one of the characters from @holozing, and it’s such a pleasure to finally bring this idea to life and present it to the community.

The character I chose for this illustration is Ermy, inspired by the Mountain Ermine. From the moment I saw her design, I felt a spark of creativity. Ermy has an aura that feels both gentle and magical, and I wanted to capture that essence in my own style. Her charm lies in her delicate yet powerful appearance, something that makes her stand out as truly enchanting.

For this project, I decided to interpret Ermy in a humanized and feminine anime style. It was a way of giving her a new dimension, while keeping her personality intact. Seeing her evolve into this form was such a rewarding artistic experience, as if she came alive through each detail I worked on.

Hola a todos, mi nombre es Lorentm y estoy encantada de darles la bienvenida a mi blog de arte. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una obra digital que me ha llenado de alegría y emoción. He creado un fan art basado en uno de los personajes de @holozing, y es un placer finalmente dar vida a esta idea y presentarla a la comunidad.

El personaje que elegí para esta ilustración es Ermy, inspirada en la comadreja de montaña. Desde el primer momento que vi su diseño sentí una chispa de creatividad. Ermy tiene un aura que se siente tanto delicada como mágica, y quise capturar esa esencia en mi propio estilo. Su encanto radica en su apariencia delicada pero poderosa, algo que la hace destacar de una manera encantadora.

Para este proyecto decidí interpretar a Ermy en un estilo anime humanizado y femenino. Fue una forma de darle una nueva dimensión, manteniendo intacta su personalidad. Verla evolucionar en esta forma fue una experiencia artística muy gratificante, como si cobrara vida con cada detalle que trabajé.

Ermy, in this version, takes on a charming anime-inspired appearance. Her hair is soft and flowing, predominantly white with gentle pastel shades that highlight her delicate features. Her big, bright eyes reflect innocence, while her rounded ears and long fluffy tail emphasize her animal-inspired essence. I gave her a short dress that is simple yet elegant, paired with thigh-high stockings, to add a touch of sweetness and youthful charm.

The scene itself takes place in her room, a cozy and pastel-toned environment that enhances the warmth of her personality. The bed, the cushions, and the framed picture in the background create a personal atmosphere, as if you’re stepping into her world. It’s a quiet and serene space where Ermy can be herself, allowing her personality to shine through.

Ermy, en esta versión, adopta una encantadora apariencia inspirada en el anime. Su cabello es suave y fluido, predominantemente blanco con suaves tonos pastel que realzan sus delicados rasgos. Sus grandes y brillantes ojos reflejan inocencia, mientras que sus orejas redondeadas y su larga cola esponjosa enfatizan su esencia animal. Le di un vestido corto, simple pero elegante, acompañado de medias largas, para añadir un toque de dulzura y encanto juvenil.

La escena en sí tiene lugar en su habitación, un entorno acogedor en tonos pastel que resalta la calidez de su personalidad. La cama, los cojines y el cuadro en la pared crean una atmósfera personal, como si estuvieras entrando en su mundo. Es un espacio tranquilo y sereno donde Ermy puede ser ella misma, permitiendo que su personalidad brille.

Process / Proceso

The first step was sketching. This is where I laid down the foundation of Ermy’s form and expression, experimenting with poses until I found one that conveyed both her charm and elegance. I wanted her posture to feel natural, sitting softly on her bed, with her tail gracefully wrapping behind her.

Once the sketch felt right, I moved on to the line art. This stage is always exciting because the character starts to take shape with cleaner lines and sharper details. I carefully defined her hair, ears, and tail, making sure each element matched the softness of her personality.

After that came the coloring stage. I chose a pastel palette that fit both Ermy’s natural inspiration and the cozy environment of the room. Soft whites, blues, and pinks created a delicate balance that felt soothing and pleasant.

Next, I added shadows. This step gave the drawing depth and volume, helping Ermy feel alive on the canvas. The folds of her dress, the strands of her hair, and the contours of her face gained dimension, making the illustration more dynamic.

Then I incorporated highlights. These small touches of light made her eyes sparkle and her hair shine, reinforcing her lively and adorable essence. The highlights added that final layer of tenderness I wanted her to transmit.

Finally, I completed the background. The room was designed in pastel tones to maintain a soft, calm atmosphere. Each element, from the bed to the picture frame, was placed to complement Ermy without overshadowing her presence.

El primer paso fue el boceto. Aquí establecí las bases de la forma y expresión de Ermy, probando con diferentes poses hasta encontrar una que transmitiera tanto su encanto como su elegancia. Quise que su postura se sintiera natural, sentada suavemente en su cama, con la cola envolviendo con gracia detrás de ella.

Una vez que el boceto estuvo listo, pasé al delineado. Esta etapa siempre es emocionante porque el personaje empieza a tomar forma con líneas más limpias y detalles definidos. Me aseguré de perfilar con cuidado su cabello, orejas y cola, para que cada elemento reflejara la suavidad de su personalidad.

Después vino la fase de color. Elegí una paleta pastel que encajara tanto con la inspiración natural de Ermy como con el ambiente acogedor de la habitación. Los tonos suaves de blanco, azul y rosa crearon un equilibrio delicado que transmitía calma y armonía.

Luego añadí las sombras. Este paso le dio profundidad y volumen al dibujo, ayudando a que Ermy se sintiera viva en el lienzo. Los pliegues de su vestido, los mechones de su cabello y los contornos de su rostro ganaron dimensión, haciendo la ilustración más dinámica.

Después incorporé los brillos. Estos pequeños toques de luz hicieron que sus ojos brillaran y que su cabello resplandeciera, reforzando su esencia vivaz y adorable. Los brillos añadieron esa capa final de ternura que quería transmitir.

Finalmente, completé el fondo. La habitación fue diseñada en tonos pastel para mantener una atmósfera suave y tranquila. Cada elemento, desde la cama hasta el cuadro en la pared, fue colocado para complementar a Ermy sin opacar su presencia.

Creating this fan art of Ermy was an incredibly enjoyable journey. Bringing her to life in a humanized anime style allowed me to explore her personality in a new way, while still honoring her original design. Every stage of the process filled me with motivation, and I loved seeing her evolve step by step.

Darle vida en un estilo anime humanizado me permitió explorar su personalidad de una forma nueva, manteniendo siempre el respeto por su diseño original. Cada etapa del proceso me llenó de motivación, y me encantó verla evolucionar paso a paso.
