Hello everyone! I’m Lorentm, a digital artist, and I’m thrilled to welcome you once again to my art blog. Today, I’m especially excited to share with you my latest digital artwork inspired by one of the characters from @holozing. Being part of this creative community fills me with joy, and I wanted to dedicate this piece to the ongoing Zingtober event.
This is my artwork for day 24 of Zingtober, where the keyword is Rowdy. The moment I read it, I immediately imagined an energetic, chaotic, and fun character. That’s how I decided to reimagine the female forest healer from @holozing in a mischievous, rebellious way. I couldn’t help but think of Jinx from Arcane, whose wild personality I truly adore.
Working on this character felt like stepping into her wild spirit—someone who doesn’t follow the rules, who finds strength in her madness, and joy in her chaos. I wanted to transmit that fierce, playful energy through every line and expression.
Finally, I want to thank @acidyo and @holozing for continuously supporting my work and giving artists like me such inspiring opportunities to create and share.

Hoy me siento especialmente emocionada de compartir con ustedes mi más reciente obra digital inspirada en uno de los personajes de @holozing. Ser parte de esta comunidad creativa me llena de alegría, y quise dedicar esta pieza al evento Zingtober que está en curso.
Esta es mi obra para el día 24 de Zingtober, cuya palabra clave es Rowdy. En cuanto la leí, imaginé a un personaje enérgico, caótico y divertido. Así fue como decidí reinterpretar a la female forest healer de @holozing con un toque travieso y rebelde. No pude evitar recordar a Jinx de Arcane, cuya personalidad alocada me encanta.
Trabajar en este personaje fue como entrar en su espíritu salvaje: alguien que no sigue las reglas, que encuentra fuerza en su locura y alegría en su caos. Quise transmitir esa energía intensa y juguetona en cada línea y expresión.
Finalmente, quiero agradecer a @acidyo y @holozing por apoyar continuamente mis obras y brindarnos a las artistas oportunidades tan inspiradoras para crear y compartir.
The piece portrays the female forest healer, but with a wild and rebellious twist. Instead of her usual calm and nurturing demeanor, she appears fierce, bold, and full of attitude. Her confident pose—with one hand on her hip and the other holding a large shark-headed bazooka still smoking from recent use—captures that chaotic energy perfectly. Her twin ponytails flow with movement, giving her a dynamic and carefree look.
Her outfit reflects her defiant personality: a sleeveless cropped top with a four-leaf clover on her chest, a tattered skirt over ripped shorts, and broken fishnet stockings. Heavy boots and fingerless gloves complete the look of a troublemaker ready for action. The monochromatic palette adds strength and drama to the piece, enhancing the contrast between her vivid expression and the gritty, graffiti-stained wall behind her.
La obra retrata a la female forest healer, pero con un giro salvaje y rebelde. En lugar de su actitud calmada y protectora habitual, aquí se muestra feroz, decidida y llena de carácter. Su pose confiada, con una mano en la cadera y la otra sosteniendo una enorme bazooka con forma de cabeza de tiburón que aún echa humo por el uso reciente, captura perfectamente esa energía caótica. Sus coletas largas se mueven con naturalidad, dándole un aire dinámico y despreocupado.
Su vestimenta refleja su personalidad desafiante: un top sin mangas con un trébol de cuatro hojas en el pecho, una falda desgastada sobre pantalones cortos rotos y unas medias de red rasgadas. Unas botas robustas y guantes sin dedos completan la apariencia de una alborotadora lista para la acción. La paleta monocromática refuerza la intensidad de la pieza, destacando el contraste entre su expresión vivaz y el muro cubierto de manchas tipo grafiti del fondo.
Process / Proceso
I started with a loose sketch to capture her pose and attitude. My main goal was to make her look bold and alive, as if she were about to cause some playful chaos. The sketch helped me visualize her movement and how the bazooka would fit naturally into the composition.
Once satisfied, I moved on to the line art. Clean lines are essential to preserve the strength of the character, so I paid special attention to her hair, the shark-shaped weapon, and the torn textures of her clothes. Each line was meant to transmit energy and expressiveness.
For the coloring stage, even though the artwork is monochromatic, I worked with a wide range of grays to create contrast and volume. This step is crucial to make each element stand out and give the piece a sense of depth and personality.
When adding shadows, I imagined a strong light source from the upper left, casting deep shadows across her body and the wall. This lighting helped enhance her rebellious presence and the mysterious atmosphere around her.
Highlights came next. I added subtle gleams on her hair, eyes, and metallic parts of the bazooka to bring the artwork to life. The bright reflections created a nice balance with the dark tones, giving the impression of power and movement.
Finally, I completed the background with wall textures and paint splatters, evoking a rough urban environment—perfect for a wild character like her to make some noise.
Comencé con un boceto suelto para capturar su pose y actitud. Mi objetivo principal era que se viera audaz y llena de vida, como si estuviera a punto de causar un poco de caos divertido. El boceto me ayudó a visualizar su movimiento y cómo la bazooka encajaría de manera natural en la composición.
Una vez satisfecha, pasé al delineado. Las líneas limpias son esenciales para conservar la fuerza del personaje, así que puse especial atención en su cabello, el arma con forma de tiburón y las texturas rasgadas de su ropa. Cada línea debía transmitir energía y expresividad.
En la etapa de coloreado, aunque la obra es monocromática, trabajé con una amplia gama de grises para crear contraste y volumen. Este paso fue crucial para que cada elemento destacara y la pieza tuviera profundidad y personalidad.
Al agregar las sombras, imaginé una fuente de luz intensa proveniente de la parte superior izquierda, proyectando sombras marcadas sobre su cuerpo y la pared. Esta iluminación ayudó a resaltar su presencia rebelde y el ambiente misterioso que la rodea.
Luego añadí los brillos. Coloqué destellos sutiles en su cabello, ojos y en las partes metálicas de la bazooka para dar vida a la obra. Los reflejos luminosos equilibraron los tonos oscuros y aportaron una sensación de poder y movimiento.
Finalmente, completé el fondo con texturas de muro y manchas de pintura, evocando un entorno urbano y rudo, perfecto para que un personaje tan alborotador como ella haga de las suyas.

This artwork was a fun and liberating experience. I loved pushing the boundaries of the character and turning her into a version full of rebellion and energy. Seeing her come to life with such a bold attitude made me smile through every step of the process.
I feel grateful for challenges like Zingtober, where creativity flows without limits and imagination takes over. Thank you again to @acidyo and @holozing for encouraging artists like me to keep growing and sharing our worlds through art.
Esta obra fue una experiencia divertida y liberadora. Me encantó llevar al personaje más allá de sus límites y convertirla en una versión llena de rebeldía y energía. Verla cobrar vida con una actitud tan desafiante me hizo sonreír en cada etapa del proceso.
Me siento agradecida por desafíos como Zingtober, donde la creatividad fluye sin límites y la imaginación toma el control. Gracias nuevamente a @acidyo y @holozing por motivarnos a seguir creciendo y compartiendo nuestros mundos a través del arte.

The tools I used for the drawing were the following:
- Android tablet.
- Capacitive pen (Stylus).
- Ibis Paint X program.
- Brushes: Pencil, Airbrush, Fuzzy, Marker.
