Good afternoon, my dear readers from the #Hive artistic community. Happy start to the week to everyone reading this. For those of you who don't know me, let me introduce myself. My name is Manuel, and I would like to welcome you to my art blog, where I like to share all my artistic creations and a little more. This time, I wanted to start my week by bringing you a new representation of the #Holozing game, but with a slightly more colorful style, as I usually like to do, taking advantage of the fact that the #Zingtober challenge has ended. This time, I'm bringing you a representation of two characters from the game: the Forest Healer and the grumpy feline creature (Miu Miu), who in this case is being rescued from the forest by the Healer after being lost for several days:
Muy buenas tardes de lunes mis queridÃsimos lectores y lectoras de la comunidad artÃstica de #Hive, feliz inicio de semana para todos los que me leen por aquà en esta oportunidad, para los que no me conocen pues me presento, mi nombre es Manuel y me gustarÃa darle la bienvenida a mi blog de arte, el lugar donde me gusta compartir todas mis creaciones artÃsticas y un poco más. Esta vez quise empezar mi semana trayéndoles una nueva representación del juego de #Holozing, pero con un estilo un poco mas colorido como habitualmente me gusta hacer, aprovechando que ya que ha finalizado el reto del #Zingtober; en esta ocasión vengo a traerles una representación de 2 personajes del juego como lo son el Sanador del Bosque, y la malhumorada criatura felina (Miu Miu), la cual en este caso esta siendo rescatada del bosque por el Sanador luego de estar perdido por varios dÃas:

This time, I wanted the forest healer to be rescuing a small, defenseless creature, which in this case would be the cat (Miu Miu). In the case of the Healer, I wanted to adapt him a little more to my style, which is why I drew him a little stockier and with a long beard. and in the case of (Miu Miu), I decided to draw it as if it were a little wet from the rain after being lost in the forest. Once I finished the main sketch, I moved on to the next step, which was the coloring process. In this case, I decided to use a color palette with peach tones, reds to establish volume, and a little brown for normal shadows and occlusion shadows. I worked on all of this with my watercolor brush, as it allows me to mix tones and blend them at the same time.
Esta vez quise que el sanador del busque estuviese rescatando a una pequeña y desprotegida criatura, que en este caso serÃa el gato (Miu Miu), en el caso del Sanador quise adaptarlo un poco mas a mi estilo y es por ello que lo dibuje un poco mas fornido y con una barba larga; y en el caso de (Miu Miu) decidà dibujarlo como se estuviese un poco empapado de lluvia por haber estado perdido en el bosque. Una vez termine con el boceto principal me pase al siguiente paso que serie el proceso de coloreado, en este caso decidà usar una paleta de colores con tonos duraznos, rojos para establecer el volumen y un poco de marrón para las sombras normales y las sombras de oclusión, todo esto lo trabaje con mi pincel de acuarela ya que me permite mezclar los tonos y difuminarlos al mismo tiempo.
In the second stage of the painting process, I focused on the face. In this case, I wanted the Healer's gaze to be fixed downward, looking at the small feline in his arms, and I achieved this with pasty green tones and a little white to detail the sparkles in the eyes. Then, to paint the hair, I used shades similar to those of the eyes, gradually increasing the green tones to achieve the base of the hair and beard. Then, with my three-pointed brush, I textured both areas, seeking to achieve a kind of strand texture.
En la 2da etapa del proceso de pintado me dedique a trabajar los que seria el apartado del rostro, en este caso quise que la mirada del Sanador estuviese fijada hacia abajo mirando al pequeño felino entre sus brazos, y esto lo logre con tonos verdes pastosos y un poco de blanco para detallar los brillos en los ojos. Luego para el pintado del cabello usé tonos similares a los de los ojos, de forma escalonada fui ascendiendo los tonos verdosos para lograr la base del cabello y la barba, luego con mi pincel de 3 puntas fui texturizando ambas zonas buscando lograr una especie de textura de mechones.
In the case of the Healer's clothing, I wanted to maintain some of the character's original essence, so I used gray tones to create the classic jacket or sports jacket worn by healers. Here, I mainly used my watercolor brush to achieve a texture of folds and wrinkles that would give the clothing a realistic look. As a complement to the clothing, I also wanted to keep the crown of branches on his head, so I used brown tones and detailed the leaves with olive green and kiwi green. In the case of the little cat, I used a color palette of blues and grays. First, I defined the shape with gray, trying to leave the edges of the cat's body quite irregular with some loose strands to indicate that it is wet. Then, for the chest, I used light brown and white tones, and for the ears and nose, pink tones.
En el caso de la ropa del Sanador si quise mantener un poco la esencia original del personaje, en este caos use tonos grises para crea la clásica chaqueta o chamarra deportiva de los sanadores, aquà use mas que todo mi pincel de acuarela para lograr una textura de pliegues y arrugas que dieran realismo a la ropa; también como complemento a la ropa quise mantener también la corona de ramas sobre su cabeza, para esto use tonos marrones y detalle las hojas con verdes oliva y verde kiwi. En el caso del pequeño gato si use una paleta de colores entre los tonos azules y grises, primero definà la forma con gris tratando de dejar los bordes del cuerpo del gato bastante irregulares con algunos mechones sueltos que denoten que esta empapado; luego para el pecho use tonos marrones claros y blancos, y para las orejas y la nariz tonos rosados.
