Good morning, my dear readers and members of the #Hive artistic community. Happy Sunday to all of you. I hope you are doing very well and, of course, enjoying your weekend. Your friend Manuel here is very happy to bring you a new artistic post for my blog. Today I bring you my entry for day 26 of #Zingtober, proposed by my dear friends in the #Holozing community. In this case, the word for today is (PUZZLING), and my choice to inspire my illustration was none other than the dragon (Drazing) from the #Holozing game. In this case, the dragon is sitting at a table, a little grumpy because he doesn't know how to finish putting together the puzzle with the game's (Z) logo... I hope you like this idea, and here I'll show you a little bit of the process of how I did it:
Muy buenos dĂas mis queridos lectores y lectoras de la comunidad artĂstica de #Hive, feliz domingo para todos ustedes, espero que se encuentren muy muy bien y que, por supuesto estĂ©n disfrutando de su fin de semana, por aquĂ los saluda su amigo Manuel super feliz de traerles un nuevo post artĂstico para mi blog. El dĂa de hoy vengo a traerles lo que seria mi entrada para el dĂa 26 del #Zingtober propuesto por mis queridos amigos de la comunidad de #Holozing, en este caso la palabra correspondiente para el dĂa de hoy es (PUZZLING) y en este caso mi elegido para inspirar mi ilustraciĂłn no fue otro que el dragĂłn (Drazing) del juego de #Holozing, en este caso el dragĂłn se encontrarĂa sentado en una mesa, un poco malhumorado ya que no sabe cĂłmo terminar de armar el rompecabezas con logo de la (Z) del juego…espero les guste esta idea y aquĂ les enseñare un poco del proceso de como lo hice:

I started with a fairly basic sketch of the dragon sitting down, with his slightly stocky arms resting on the table while holding a couple of puzzle pieces between his fingers that he is putting together. Once I had clearly defined my idea and captured it in a good line art, I was able to move on to coloring the drawing. In this case, I started with a color palette made up of many light intermediate gray tones to define the base of the dragon's skin (Drazing) with a slightly softer texture. Then, with a very light gray, I created what would be the texture that goes from the jaw down to the dragon's belly.
EmpecĂ© con un boceto más o menos básico del dragĂłn sentado, con sus brazos levemente fornidos apoyados sobres la mesa mientras sostiene entre sus dedos un par de piezas de rompecabezas que esta armando. Una vez logre definir bien mi idea y la plasme en un buen line art me pude pasar a lo que seria el coloreado del dibujo, en este caso empecĂ© con una paleta de colores conformada por muchos tonos grises intermedios claros para ir definiendo un poco la base de la piel del dragĂłn (Drazing) con una textura un poco mas suave; luego con un gris muy claro cree lo que serĂa la textura que va desde la mandĂbula y baja hasta el vientre del dragĂłn.
In the second stage, I focused a little more on giving the dragon some personality and expressiveness. My idea was basically to make it look moody or annoyed, so I decided to start with a base of light gray tones to form what would be the eyeball. Then, using light grays, I created and detailed the inner area of the eyes, depicting the iris, the pupil, and, of course, the reflective glare. In the case of the wings, I tried to maintain the same grays as the skin for the base, but in the middle part, I used light grays for that kind of soft, thin skin that all flying creatures have on their wings, which allows them to fly.
En la 2da etapa me ocupé un poco más de darle un poco de personalidad y expresividad al dragón, mi idea básicamente era que se viera con una expresión como de mal humor o molesto, para esto decidà empezar con una base de tonos grises claros para formar lo que seria el globo ocular, luego con grises claros fui creando y detallando un poco la zona interna de los ojos, plasmando el iris, la pupila, y por supuesto los brillos de reflejo. En el caso de las alas trate de mantener los mismos grises de la piel para la base, pero en la parte media use grises claros para esa especie de piel blanda y delgada que tienen las alas de todas las criaturas voladoras y que permiten que puedan volar.
For the table, I used some light grays to create a rustic wood-like texture with some cracks, then right on top of it I painted what would be the partially assembled puzzle, for which I used much darker grays. I also created a couple of pieces between the dragon's claws (Drazing) to give the impression that it is putting the puzzle together. Then, using light gray tones, I drew the (Z) logo, which, as many of you know, is the representative logo of the #Holozing game.
En el caso de la mesa use algunos grises claros para formar una especie de textura como de madera rustica, con algunas grietas, luego justo sobre ella pinte lo que seria el rompecabezas parcialmente armado, para esto si use grises mucho mas oscuros, igualmente cree un par de piezas entre las garras del dragón (Drazing), esto para dar la idea que el mismo lo esta armando; luego con tonos grises claros dibuje el logo de la (Z), que como muchos sabrán es el logo representativo del juego de #Holozing.
