This is my entry for day number 10 of the #Zingtober challenge, a prompt proposed by the #Holozing community, where we follow the official #Inktober rules to create daily drawings with different themes and Holozing characters. For tools, I’ll be using only a pencil, a blank sheet of paper, and a black pen for inking.
Bad news though: I’m out of fine pens—not even a 0.7! I only have a very thick ballpoint pen, but tools don’t make the artist, so we’ll do our best with what we’ve got.
The prompt for day 10 was Sweep, and I’ll be drawing Zingu, our little penguin, sweeping his igloo. Honestly, I think Zingu has some Latin roots because he sings while sweeping—and that feels very Latin to me! Haha.
Despite the technical limitations and the thickness and quality of the pen, I really liked how it turned out. I even think there’s a certain beauty in this less controlled, thicker line. Still, I hope to find some new fine pens before the month ends.

Esta es mi entrada para el día número 10 del reto #Zingtober, un reto propuesto por la comunidad de #Holozing, donde seguimos las reglas del #Inktober oficial para realizar dibujos diarios con distintas temáticas y con los personajes de Holozing. Como herramientas estaré usando solamente lápiz, una hoja blanca y un bolígrafo negro para entintar.
Y mala noticia: estoy sin lapiceros finos, ni siquiera de 0.7. Solo tengo un bolígrafo muy grueso, pero las herramientas no hacen al artista, así que haremos lo que mejor se nos ocurra y con nuestro máximo esfuerzo.
El prompt del día 10 era Sweep (barrer), y estaré dibujando a Zingu, nuestro pingüinito, barriendo su iglú. Pero la verdad, creo que Zingu tiene algunas raíces latinas porque canta mientras barre, ¡y eso me parece muy latino! Jajaja.
A pesar de las limitaciones técnicas y del grosor y calidad de la lapicera, me gustó mucho el resultado. Hasta creo que hay cierta belleza en este trazo menos controlado y más grueso. Pero igual espero encontrar nuevas plumas finas antes de que acabe el mes.
Estoy disfrutando mucho de este #Zingtober y ya quiero que llegue el próximo día. Gracias por acompañarme un día más dibujando. Bye bye.
