@Stresskiller was so kind to bring the Holozing challenge under my knowledge. After a while not being able to draw because my personal life got to bussy and I have to make choices between all my hobbies and intrest I have when I finally have some spare time. I decided to give it a try. Not sure if my post will be correct and if I will be able to post at least 4 promps in total on time this month. But I’m glad I found the time and creativity to make at least the first promp.
I saw that Holozing has a deer already named Shinaara. It make me think what if it has multiple apperances based on a diffrent type that is available in Holozing. Just like the Pokémon deer Deerling. Then I thought I never seened a electric type deer in any game (if u did so please show me, but till then I feel really original.)
But this is mine contribution for the Zingtober promp deer.
And now I will bring you with the stepps I took to make Shiki . And how I got by the name Shiki please enjoy :)
First I grabbed my pencil and paper and start to do some sketching.
Then I grabbed my Ipad and decided to keep going with this. So first I made a sketch again in Procreate with the Echidna pencil brush.
After the sketch was done I started with the outline of the head. With the Alpine pen brush
Ofcourse you can’t forget the outline off the body
When it was all done I started to fill it in with the grey tones.
Decided to put some shadows in it to first the dark shadows
And after that the light ones. After when I put the lights one on I was satisfied with the drawing.
What do you like of mine electric version of Shinaara I will like to call mine Shiki. It’s based on the japanse words Denki meaning electric and Shika meaning deer.
So becide using the thunder symbols on the body I also stole the cheeks from plusle and minus from Pokémon. But insteed of using a tail and anglers I decided to put some lightbulbs there. If I had more time I would have defintly love to play with the shadows more so it would looked like the lightbulbs gave some lights too. But because the lack off time I decided not to burn my hands on it. The last small electric thing I put on the deer are the hoves. I thought it would be fun if it looked like power plugs.
