Hello again!
Took a short break to rest my eyes for a few days. Eyes were getting slightly blurry because of prolonged blue light exposure so it had to be done. I'm fine now so I made something today. It's about the power showcase of Wrackdoom, the evolved form of Wrackoo. I call it the Doom Ball, powered by the sunlight. Since this guy is plant based I'm pretty sure we are gonna see something like this in the official version haha.
Converting the reference material into Wrackdoom's body was quite a lenthy process because of anatomical difference. So glad that the official reference has everything I needed for making the lineart in good quality. The pose is selected just to showcase the power so it's very important that we do it properly and on top of that there is also a tilt which makes it slightly harder haha. After the lineart was made the colouring was done on the basis of two lighting sources where one being the natural light from the top left and other being the light from the Doom Ball. It was fun to shade the energy highlights on the body. The background was kept darker on purpose to highlight the Doom Ball here so in the end this is how it turned out :)

Always so shiny, I wonder how you blend your colour so well and still make it so radiant.
I only used blur tool to blend since it's anime style. No major blending techniques are usedd here however I have a good understanding about lighting and shadows and that's the area I'm more focused when it comes to drawings with glow like this.

from mosquito bites, dengue. I think i am stable now i just need to take more fluids than the average guy.
Oh that's not good. Maybe buy a mosquito repellent cream if it's a normal thing there.

It's great! Wrackdoom is one of my favourite characters, I like that he's forest-like. I've thought about giving him claws, I feel like he's missing them. Who do you talk to to get him claws? Hahaha.
You can make one with claws then hehe.
