Today as I claim my zing token rewards my thoughts drift to my own thoughts about the holozing project and how I managed to accumulate close to 10K zing tokens.
Here are the 9.27K zing that I have accumulated.
Holozing a great case of marketing on a budget
Holozing is a play2earn game being built on the hive blockchain. Apart from the game development which is going great as can be seen from the teasers that the team and the founders keep revealing from time to time there has been an awesome community support behind the project.
The community is not built in a day.
Building a community around a project is a meticulous task that requires time, strategy, energy and plenty of resources including money.
The holozing community is a set of dynamic and enthusiastic hive users that are always there to root for the project.
How a claimdrop clicked for holozing
Claim drop is an interesting concept and a potent marketing tool that can be used to build a community and device actions that can keep the community engaged and growing.
In the early days of the project launch the holozing community came up with a claimdrop opportunity for users of the hive blockchain.
I user could gain zing tokens by way of
Holding Posh tokens in the wallet
Staking zing tokens
Delegating hive power to the holozing project
Providing liquidity to the zing - swap.hive pool
The opportunity this initiative created for the hive users was that they had multiple ways of earning the zing tokens.
However they had to go to the holozing project site and claim their rewards.
Based on their involvement and reward criteria
In the start of the claimdrop those who held posh tokens got rewarded with zing tokens. However currently those rewards have stopped.
Make the power of compounding work with claiming multiple times
It made a lot of sense to claim the zing tokens multiple times on the basis of 2 factors.
One the zing rewards were paid out as staked zing tokens and secondly these staked zing tokens earn a handsome APR
Currently the APR for staked zing is 21.85% which is quite a handsome return for any token.
So making multiple claims every day has helped me not only stack up more zing tokens but also helped in earning a higher reward as the stack of zing tokens in my wallet grows.
This is a great incentive for a user to go and claim their rewards multiple times a day and from a projects point of view when users come to the site and claim the rewards multiple times a day then they are creating an engagement with the project site.
Making the most of the high APR
In the start of the project the APR was quite high which has tapered a lot over time.
So the project contributions made my users early on have helped them climb higher on the zing token rich list.
I am getting closer to 10K zing tokens
I started small and at the time of writing this post I have 9.27K Zing tokens which is a decent figure considering the fact that I have very little zing tokens to start with.
Final thoughts
Currently the price of the zing token is stabilising around $0.002 per token. Initially the price was quite high and I did not give into the temptation of selling the tokens I earned and instead I kept on growing my Zing token stack.
Slow and steady has been my growth journey with the project which has helped me grow in the project ecosystem.
