I started this drawing process with a pencil sketch as seen on the process shot. I used different drawing techniques like hatching, crosshatching and scribbling.
I got the reference from hours of strolling through Pinterest (artist struggle).

Deer, which often symbolises gentleness, elegance and purity.
Often it's been linked to nature.
I tried my best here to depict it's symbolism.
With smooth and rough shades which like nature shows the careful craft(smooth shade) and freedom (rough shades) both shades work hand in hand to bring the piece to life.
Thanks to the zingtober challenge I was able to challenge myself as an artist with this work.
