Hello, Holozing community, once again I am here to share with you the last embroidery I made of the characters of this great ecosystem. This time I chose Woolio, this adorable sheep that has some striking colors in the yellow range. So I had to use a smaller hoop to embroider it, because I had all the shades of thread, but some of them were not enough. I also liked the result, I must admit that it is much easier to embroider in larger hoops, since I have more space to make the small details while in a smaller hoop I have to use smaller needles and a larger number of stitches for all the stuffing, which makes it take me much longer. I hope you like this representation in Woolio yarn, below, I show you the necessary materials and the step by step of the creative process.
Hola, comunidad de Holozing, una vez más me encuentro por aquí para compartir con ustedes el último bordado que hice de los personajes de este gran ecosistema. En esta ocasión elegí a Woolio, esta adorable oveja que tiene unos colores llamativos de la gama del amarillo. Por lo cual tuve que hacer uso de un aro más pequeño para bordarlo, pues contaba con todos los tonos de hilo, pero algunos no eran suficientes. De igual forma me gustó el resultado, debo admitir que es mucho más fácil bordar en aros más grandes, ya que tengo más espacio para hacer los detalles pequeños mientras que en un aro de menor tamaño debo usar agujas más diminutas y una mayor cantidad de puntadas para todo el relleno, lo que hace que me demore mucho más. Espero que les guste esta representacion en hilo de Woolio, a continuacion, te muestro los materiales necesarios y el paso a paso del preceso creativo.

The first thing I did was to take a sheet of paper and a pencil to draw Woolio's silhouette and use it as a mold. With the help of a carbon paper, I transferred the image to the fabric. It is very important in this step not to move the fabric and the sheet so that the silhouette is not imperfect and moved. When I finished, I placed the fabric on the frame and drew a line under the sheep, since I had planned to make the grass in all that lower part.
Lo primero que hice fue tomar una hoja y un lápiz para dibujar la silueta de Woolio y utilizarla como molde. Con la ayuda de un papel carbón, transferí la imagen hacia la tela. Es muy importante en este paso no mover la tela y la hoja para que la silueta no quede con imperfecciones y movida. Al terminar, coloqué la tela en el bastidor y dibujé una línea debajo de la oveja, ya que tenía pensado hacer el pasto en toda esa parte inferior.

With a fine hand needle and black thread I marked the whole silhouette of the character. To keep the lines thin, I used only two strands of thread. Taking advantage of the needle, I filled in the eyes, nose and mouth. With a light brown tone I embroidered the legs and the top of the ears.
Con una aguja de mano fina e hilo negro marqué toda la silueta del personaje. Para que me quedaran las líneas delgadas, utilicé dos hebras de hilo solamente. Aprovechando que tenía ensartada la aguja, rellené los ojos, la nariz y la boca. Con un tono marrón claro bordé las patas y la parte superior de las orejas.

With a light shade between orange and yellow, I filled in the face being very careful not to cover the mouth, as they have very thin lines. Then I took two shades of orange, one lighter than the other, and embroidered the lower part of the wool. This part is getting darker because they are like the shadows of the drawing.
Con un tono claro entre naranja y amarillo, rellené la cara con mucho cuidado de no tapar la boca, pues tienen líneas muy delgadas. Luego tomé dos tonos naranjas, uno más claro que el otro, y bordé la parte baja de la lana. Esta parte va oscureciendo porque son como las sombras del dibujo.

With two shades of yellow, one strong and the other very pale, I finished stuffing the sheep's wool. Incidentally, with a shade of pink thread, I embroidered the inside of the ears. To make the grass it occurred to me that I could use the tic tac stitch on my sewing machine, using the largest stitch. I threaded the machine with green thread and started stitching all this part looking like this.
Con dos tonos amarillos, uno fuerte y otro bien pálido, terminé de rellenar la lana de la oveja. De paso, con un tono de hilo rosa, bordé la parte interior de las orejas. Para hacer la hierba se me ocurrió que podía utilizar la puntada tic tac de mi máquina de coser, utilizando la puntada más grande. Enhebré la máquina con hilo verde y comencé a coser toda esta parte quedando de esta manera.

And so this cute embroidery of Woolio, a new character of this great Holozing ecosystem, is finished. This embroidery doesn't have so many different colors, so it doesn't stand out so much, since most of them are shades of the same yellow palette. I combined several stitches throughout the process that allowed me to work much easier, so I was pleased with the result. Y de esta forma se encuentra terminado este lindo bordado de Woolio, un nuevo personaje de este gran ecosistema Holozing. Este bordado no tiene colores tan variados, por lo que no resalta tanto, ya que en su mayoría son tonos de la misma paleta amarilla. Combiné varias puntadas en todo el proceso que me permitieron trabajar mucho más fácil, así que quedé complacida con el resultado.
