Hello Holozing community, today I show you my new fanart, this time dedicated to the healer of the ocean. This time I made a representation in an underwater scene where we can see how she observes the coral reef as if it were a submerged garden. She feels at peace and tranquility, surrounded by such a variety of colors.
For the realization of this drawing I used several brushes and tools such as g pen, pencil, soft airbrush, which helped me to get a better finish, using a varied color palette and a combination of somewhat cold tones, as it is underwater. I hope you like it. Below, I show you the step by step of the creative process.
Hola, comunidad de Holozing, hoy les muestro mi nuevo fanart, esta vez dedicado a la sanadora del océano. En esta ocasión hice una representación en una escena bajo el agua donde podemos ver cómo observa el arrecife coralino como si de un jardín sumergido se tratase. Se siente en paz y tranquilidad, rodeada de tanta variedad de colores.
Para la realización de este dibujo utilicé varios pinceles y herramientas como la pluma g, el lápiz, el aerógrafo suave, que me ayudaron a obtener un mejor acabado, usando una paleta de colores variada y una combinación de tonos un tanto fríos, ya que se encuentra debajo del agua. I started by making the sketch, capturing on the canvas the idea I had in mind: this would be a girl with a curious and observant position. Then I moved on to the lineart which is where I made a more precise set of strokes defining well each area of the drawing. Then I started to work on the setting, creating the corals that would make up the seabed, which is watching the girl. And finally the details of the clothes, the face and the headband.
Comencé haciendo el boceto, plasmando en el lienzo la idea que tenía en mente: esta sería una chica con una posición curiosa y observadora. Luego paso a hacer el lineart que es donde hice un conjunto de trazos más precisos definiendo bien cada área del dibujo. Luego empecé a trabajar en la ambientación creando los corales que conformaran el fondo marino, el cual esta observando a la chica. Y por último los detalles de la ropa, la cara y la diadema.

With the lineart ready, I began to apply the base colors, starting with the girl, then the corals and finally the seabed.

I always do separate layers for colors and shadows, so that if I need to make changes, I don't have to mess up the arrangement too much. I started shading the neck part, under the sleeves of the blouse and skirt, as well as under the bangs of the hair. I gave the inner hair a darker shade. Then I added the shadows on the clothing to make it look more realistic with its folds and some sparkles on the hair and bubbles. I continued with the corals and shells painting new lines on the latter and degrading colors on the corals with the airbrush. Then I painted the ground and made a soft color gradient from the ground to the blue background, obtaining a better result.
Siempre hago capas separadas para los colores y las sombras, para que si necesito hacer cambios, no se me complique mucho el arreglo. Comencé a sombrear la parte del cuello, debajo de las mangas de la blusa y la falda, así como debajo de los flecos del cabello. El cabello interior le di un tono más oscuro. Luego añadí las sombras de la ropa para que se viera más realista con sus pliegues y algunos brillos en el cabello y en las burbujas. Continué con los corales y conchas pintando nuevas líneas en estas últimas y degradando colores en los corales con el aerógrafo. Después pinté el suelo e hice un suave degradado de color desde el suelo hasta el azul de fondo, obteniendo un mejor resultado.
