Greetings, Holozing Community. In previous posts, I had the pleasure of creating fan art of my Chibi versions of the beautiful creatures from Miu and Zappit. You can see them at these links. I'm still in love with these Chibis, and before continuing to create versions of other characters, I want to create scenes where they share certain activities together.
Today, these Chibi Friends are sharing some delicious ice cream and are very happy. Chibi Miu is savoring it because she likes it so much. She even has two ice creams because she's such a big eater, although she doesn't pay much attention and now she's dropping one of them. Chibi Zappit laughs at Miu's gluttony while eating her favorite strawberry ice cream.

Saludos Comunidad Holozing. En post anteriores tuve el placer de realizar Fanart de mis Versiones Chibis de las hermosas criaturas de Miu y Zappit, pueden verlas en estos enlaces. Sigo enamorada de estas Chibis, y antes de seguir realizando versiones de otros personajes, quiero realizar escenas donde compartan ciertas actividades juntas.
El día de hoy, estas Chibis Amigas están compartiendo unos ricos helados y están muy felices. Chibi Miu está saboreando porque le gustan mucho, incluso tiene dos helados porque es muy comelona, aunque no presta mucha atención y ahora se le está cayendo uno de ellos. La Chibi Zappit se rie de lo glotona Miu, mientras come su helado de fresa que es su sabor preferido.

I like to sketch in two colors, and today I even sketch in three colors. I kept this sketch and idea to the end, although I did reverse the positions of both Chibis. My Chibi Zappit version has an impressive head of hair that totally references the original Zappit; it's what stands out most about her. I did this because I loved watching Candy Candy as a kid, and she had a huge head of hair, so I wanted Zappit to have that, too.
And Chibi Miu has a very Kawaii cat hat, which makes her look very cute and fun. Both of them are standing up, eating their ice cream, and they have different expressions, as I mentioned in the second paragraph.
Me gusta bocetear en dos colores y el día de hoy hasta en tres colores. Este boceto e idea la mantuve hasta el final, aunque para terminar si invertí los lugares de ambas Chibis. Mi versión Chibi Zappit, tiene una impresionante cabellera que hace referencia total a Zappit original, es lo que más destaca de ella, aunque les cuento que esto lo hice porque cuando niña amaba ver Candy Candy y ella tenía una enorme cabellera y así quise que Zappit también la tuviera.
Y la Chibi Miu tiene un gorro de gatita muy Kawaii y la hace ver muy tierna y divertida. La posición de ambas es de pie comiendo sus helados y sus expresiones diferentes como les comenté en el segundo párrafo.
The step-by-step process, as always, both traditional and digital, follows the sketch with a thin, pencil-style brush.
The skin tone in both, along with some well-placed shadows (in my opinion). The gray color in Miu's hair.
El paso a paso como siempre, tanto en tradicional como digital, luego del boceto es el Lineart con un pincel estilo o efecto lápiz, delgado.
El color piel en ambas y algunas sombras bien ubicadas (según yo). El color gris del cabello de Miu.

A touch of shine in Miu's hair, as I always like to do. And with different shades of gray, and thanks to the fact that I'm working digitally, I can now apply the colors I want and need, so I can color Miu's outfit with other shades of gray. Some outfit details like tights, shoes, and accessories.
Practically the same process for the beautiful Zappit, enjoying coloring her beautiful hair with its shine and the most characteristic aspects of the original Zappit.
Un toque de brillo en el cabello de Miu, como siempre me gusta hacerlo. Y con diferentes tonos de gris, y gracias a que estoy trabajando en digital ahora si puedo aplicar los colores que quiero y necesito, puedo colorear el traje de Miu con otros tonos de grises. Algunos detalles de outfit como medias, zapatos y accesorios.
Prácticamente el mismo proceso para la bella Zappit, disfrutando colorear su bella cabellera con su brillo y los aspectos más característicos del Zappit original.

The ice creams came in different flavors, and Miu's eye color was gorgeous and very much in character. Details on Miu's hat and other smaller details stood out. A very thin white border around the two Chibis.
Some backgrounds I didn't want to dedicate much attention to, just a blue sky, some clouds, and grass on the ground.
Los helados de diferentes sabores, el color de los ojos de Miu, precioso y muy del personaje. Detalles en el gorro de Miu, y otros detalles más pequeños para destacar. Un borde blanco muy delgado alrededor de las dos Chibis.
Algún fondo al que no quise dedicarle tanto, solo un cielo azul, algunas nubes y un pasto en el piso.

As I mentioned, I ultimately decided to change the position of the Chibis. You might think it's silly, but I think Chibi Miu takes up less space, giving it more air. She should be on the left side so the viewer's gaze flows more, from left to right, since that's how we read. And Chibi Zappit's hair, having a curved shape, is directed to the left, creating a kind of movement in the viewer's eye.
It's not science... it's just what I think should happen.
Como les mencioné, al final decidí cambiar la posición de las Chibis, tal vez crean que es una tontería, pero pienso que Chibi Miu al ocupar menos espacio le aporta como más aire al mismo, y debía estar del lado izquierdo para que la mirada del espectador fluya más, fluya de izquierda a derecha, ya que así leemos. Y el cabello de Chibi Zappit al tener una forma como de curvas se direccionan hacia la izquierda y así se forma como un movimiento en el ojo del espectador.
No es ciencia... es solo lo que pienso que debe pasar.

To create the cover, I worked with Canva Pro. I uploaded my drawing and enhanced the image with Canva's Image Upscaler app, which allows for increased quality without actually affecting the design.
I also used the original Miu and Zappit creatures from Holozing, along with their logo.
Para hacer la portada, trabajé con Canva en su versión Pro, cargué mi dibujo y mejoré la imagen con la App de Canva llamada Image Upscaler, con la cual se logra aumentar la calidad, sin intervenir propiamente el diseño.
También utilicé las criaturas original de Miu y Zappit de Holozing, y su Logo.
