First, I prepared the backing. I'm using cardboard from boxes, and after selecting and cutting it, I seal the edges using paper, and then I paint it with a white base to start drawing.
Then I prepared some shades of gray to start coloring. This time I had a lot more details and very small specific areas to paint, but I didn't worry too much about the edges since I could improve them later by outlining the entire figure. Apply two coats of paint to each of the necessary areas and leave only the base color in some areas that were white, or apply only one coat where it was really necessary...

Today's theme is Trunk, and I'm kinda seeing the pattern with Zingtober's theme. They chose words with a couple of different meanings, so for today's drawing, I chose the "container" meaning of Trunk. I started working on the sketch of the character, for this I used the Infinite Painter app that I find very comfortable for this type of line work and sketching in general. So this time I tried something kinda different. I got inspired by the Forest Healer and Miu, that cute lil creature that’s somehow both sweet and mysterious. I ended up mixing both ideas and added this fluffy hat thingy ‘cause it looked way too adorable to skip lol. Tbh this piece was harder than I expected. For the Zingtober day 14 prompt “Trunk” I had this idea of drawing one of the Holomons sleeping on a trunk. Trunk has several meaning and I decided to go with the one that is related to tree.
