ZINGTOBER : DEAL

It is now a done deal between ocean healer and forest healer alliance, personally i decided to team these two since i think they are match made in heaven with both types complimenting each other since water can nourish plants and in that sense that is why they represent the theme "DEAL" in this zingtober...

Zingtober challenge - Arctic - ocean healer and Gemino in the arctic circle. [Inktober day 19]

For this drawing, I wanted to depict Gemino and the Ocean Healer as they traveled to the Arctic Circle for research. While the healer chops fruit for both of them, Gemino protects her from the cold and is on guard in case anything attacks them. Bringing a creature that looks like a tank and is powerful on a dangerous expedition will always be the best idea. The loyalty of these creatures is incredible, and it's always rewarded with good fruit and lots of affection...

Zingtober - Day 16: Blunder

This is my Zingtober drawing. I ended up doing The Forest Healer with this tiny creature called Larvie 😂. I wanted to make a kinda funny scene to represent the word Blunder, so Larvie’s just there munching on some of the healer forest’s leaves. I started everything in Corel Painter, but this time it wasn’t to test colors or anything like that, since I had to do it in black and white. So I worked in grayscale from the beginning to get the idea and sketch down. Then I finished the final details in Photoshop, tweaking lights, shadows, and little finishing touches...

17 Ornate - Zingtober 2025 - Holozing

As I mentioned in the introduction, today’s drawing is inspired by Art Nouveau and the work of Alphonse Mucha, specifically his piece Zodiac. Mucha’s art features many recurring and iconic elements—metallic motifs, nature both living and dead, angelic female faces, and a delicate interplay between golden and pastel tones. His works are richly adorned, ornate, and full of detail. The challenge today is to incorporate those elements into my drawing, while still following not only the prompt but also the rule of using only grayscale...

[Zingtober] Day 17 - Ornate

The journey began with a rough sketch, where I defined Emberox’s pose and the intricate frame of the cathedral window. At this stage, I focused on composition—ensuring that every piece of glass would flow harmoniously within the structure. Once satisfied with the sketch, I moved on to the linework. This was one of the most crucial steps, as the drawing needed precision to emulate the leading of stained glass. Each segment was outlined carefully, creating that distinct gothic feel...

Zingtober] Day 20 - RIVALS (ENG - ESP)

Well, I have to say that I had this idea from the beginning of the event. I used the other drawing I did of them together at the table eating a sandwich as a reference. I wanted to give it a very dramatic touch while the two of them refuse to give in. For the line art, we used a dry ink brush, but a very thin one. I like to use thin strokes with female characters. For the background, we create a wall. I know I'm repeating this technique a lot, but it really looks good with the gray scale. If you notice, there were some lines in the middle to emphasize her gaze, but I discarded this idea...

[Zingtober] 18/ Deal

Here’s my drawing for the Zingtober. The 18th prompt is “Deal”. For this prompt, I had this idea of drawing Verdion, the Grass dragon as he is dealing some kind of magic under a full moon. I thought the dealer should be a Verdion that is more bigger as he is dealing the magic to get become strong and enormous. For making the enormous Verdion, first I painted the smaller one and merged all the layers so I could duplicate the layer and make it bigger ^^ in the end, I worked on the background adding the magic, grass and moon...

Zingtober] Day 18 - Deal

The process began with a rough sketch, where I focused on the general composition — the pose of Ocean Healer and the imposing presence of Gemino behind him. I wanted to capture the feeling of movement, energy, and tension in their stance. Then came the line art, where I refined every contour carefully. I paid special attention to the character’s expression and Gemino’s structure — his shell, claws, and spikes had to feel both organic and strong...
