[Zingtober] Day 21 - BLAST / Healer lab (ENG - ESP)

Something I forgot to mention is that I was inspired by something that happened to me a long time ago when the oven in my house exploded, and well, it was something like this image. Nothing happened to me except for the shock of the moment. I created the basic shape by looking for that pose and expression from that moment. For the sketch, I changed certain details, such as the test tube, which I think looks much better, and the other open hand, which adds more drama to the moment...

ZINGTOBER: ARCTIC (Zingu and Zinguini), Holozing Fanart

This time, my post is for the latest Zingtober contest in 2025. I chose 10 prompts chosen by Holozing, with a 72-hour posting period from the first post.
Creating black-and-white artwork is a challenge, as you determine the light and dark values of an object to convey the atmosphere of the environment within the artwork. My Zingtober post, using the ARCTIC prompt, depicts the Zingu playing and swimming in the Arctic...

18 Deal - Zingtober 2025 - Holozing

This time we’re using Ibis Paint again, so the sketching process will be simpler since it feels closer to traditional drawing, and the most challenging part will be keeping a complex scene like the one I want to create entirely in grayscale, so we’ll be working a lot with layer blending modes. Personally, I really enjoy how Ibis Paint handle layers and how much potential it offers. The scene will represent that deal, that pact between two different Healers from two different universes—the Ocean and the Forest—but despite their differences, they pour all their...

Zingtober Day 21 | Blast

The healer stands in her lab surrounded by bottles and glowing liquids as she mixes her potions with focus and curiousity, hoping to discover the next big thing. Suddenly one explodes filling the air with colours. She stares in shock as this has never happened before...

Zingtober Day 19: Arctic

It's another Zingtober entry time, and this time the theme is "Arctic". Now, with Arctic being related to ice and frozen water and all that, it was inevitable that the subject for today's drawing would be one related to water and the ocean. Now, choosing the Ocean Healer as the subject would have been too obvious and bland, so I drew the little Zingu with some warm clothes in the Arctic... probably lost or is looking for the Healer for some much-needed heal...

[Zingtober] Day 19 - Artic

The process began with the sketch, where I explored the composition and energy of the pose. I wanted to capture motion and determination, so I gave her a forward-leaning stance, as if she were braving the wind step by step. Once I was satisfied with the pose, I moved on to the lineart. Here, I focused on clean and expressive lines, emphasizing the folds of her clothing, the fur texture, and the dynamic strands of her hair. The linework gave structure and personality to the figure...

Zingtober] 19/ Arctic

The Zingtober’s 19th prompt is Arctic. For this prompt I decided to draw Infurno. After I drew him, I decided to change the flames that he got around his neck or on his tail and make it look more like fur so I drew it bigger than it is as he is holding it tightly to keep himself warm. To add more details I used a glitter brush to create the snow. I set the layer on add so it would be more shiny. I really liked working on this piece and also working on his expression...

[Zingtober] Day 20 - Rivals

I began this artwork with a loose sketch to capture the intensity of the scene. I wanted their postures to feel dynamic and natural, as if frozen in a moment of movement and strength. Once I was happy with their expressions and body proportions, I refined the lines until both characters reflected that friendly yet competitive spark. During the line art stage, I focused on clean, expressive strokes. The goal was to highlight the anatomy and the grip of their hands — the central point of energy in the piece. I enjoyed defining the muscles and facial...

Zingtober - Day 18: Deal

For this occasion, I have once again selected the light healer! I have realized that I think she is the one I have drawn the most out of all the characters, and I have also selected Xolo, this cute creature that, well, I don't have much experience with animals. Sooo the deal between the Light Healer and the little creature. A genuine bond where they complement and strengthen each other. She offers her energy, and the creature gives its loyalty...
