Creating black-and-white artwork is a challenge, as it involves determining the light and dark values of an object to convey the atmosphere of the environment within the artwork. For my Zingtober post, using the prompt ROWDY, I depict Zappity singing in the forest with a loudspeaker, causing chaos, knocking down many trees and causing the animals in the forest to suffer from the loud sound of Zappity's loudspeaker...

I began the process with a sketch to establish the scene and character interaction. From the start, I knew I wanted the healer’s pose to be expressive and full of life, as if he were delivering Shrek’s famous line. The sketch allowed me to define the composition and capture that spark between both characters. Next, I worked on the clean line art, refining shapes and details to make each gesture clear. I paid special attention to the healer’s facial expression — the furrowed eyebrows, the open mouth mid-speech — and to Xolo’s curious gaze. This stage helped me lock in the personality of each one...

So, this time I was working on my piece for the Blast prompt, and I think it’s actually the first time I’ve done something like this. At first, idk, I didn’t really have a clear idea of what to do. I was talking with a friend about comics😀 stuff like Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Batman and others ... and I guess that’s where the inspiration kinda came from . Somehow, it ended up looking more like a comic book cover, which was actually what I was trying to go for (or at least that’s what I thought I wanted lol)...

The Zingtober’s 25th prompt is “Inferno”. For this prompt, I decided to choose the character from the dragons because the prompt is Inferno so I thought the dragons could be a better choice. After lots of thoughts I decided to choose the ground type dragon, Terrarion. I had this idea of drawing this ground dragon as his horns and ears are fiery and he is holding fire in his hands. In the end I thought it would be more amazing if I add fire coming out of his body...

I wanted Zappity right in the middle of all the ruckus, so I placed each feathered character around him. But to keep the composition balanced, I put the largest one in the background, the medium-sized one below, and in the last available spot, I added little Fal going at it with fury, making noise with his drum. Of course, I had to refine the sketch, though without making it perfect, as that would actually enhance the character's sense of movement. To make my life easier, I did use the symmetry tool for Emberox's face...

This is my participation in the Zingtober 2025 for the theme Blast. I came up with an idea with a character I wanted to draw because I had already drawn its evolution and it related in a way that I found interesting to the theme of Blast. For this Pixel art with the theme of Blast, I didn't want to make a creature attacking with a laser or an explosive attack. I started reading the information of various characters and realized that Woolio is known for his good defense, so I made an animation of Woolio testing his defenses against various attacks...

The first step was the sketch, where I focused on capturing the anatomy and pose of the character. I wanted him to appear relaxed yet expressive, with his guitar held naturally as if caught mid-song. This stage was all about finding balance in composition and emotion. Next came the line art, which I approached with patience and precision. Clean, confident strokes gave structure to the sketch and defined the rhythm of the piece. Each curve of the bones and folds of the clothing was carefully traced to maintain fluidity and clarity...
