The first thing I did was trace the outline of the inside of the embroidery hoop I was going to use onto a piece of paper. This way, I would be sure of the space I would have to draw the character. After drawing Ermy inside the circle, I took carbon paper and placed it on the stretched fabric, then put the paper with the design on top. I began to trace all the lines of the drawing to transfer it to the fabric. As you can see, the lines are a little light; therefore, I went over them again with a pen to improve their visibility and prevent them from smudging when I handled the fabric. Then I stretched the fabric as taut as possible in the embroidery hoop...

I made the sketch on gray cardstock; this color really helps give the drawings a 3D effect. Instead of using a pencil for the sketch, I used white, since I wanted the edges to look shiny. The pose I chose for Panyin was making the peace and love symbols with both hands. When it came time to apply color, I started with the eyes, which I put a lot of effort into making colorful and vibrant. So I made them a mix of yellow and brown with a large black button in the center. Then I painted the area around the eye, not using black but a brown mixed with ochre, and then I gradually darkened it with brown colors until I used a little black...

Today I return to drawing so as not to lose the habit of creating art with this wonderful universe. It had been a long time since I drew a character wearing a Kigurumi, and today’s protagonist will be Ocean Healer once again, but this time it will be a baby Ocean Healer. I'm wrapping up my day on #hive with a new post and some freshly made fan art. I used #wuzing, the new creature, as an example and also as part of my more traditional illustration practice. I wanted to improve my drawing speed and learn to illustrate without a preliminary sketch. In this case, I did it in 20 minutes using only a pencil, and I think I achieved a good result...

This is the final post of the Forest Environment, I have enhanced the scenery to the max and added the last missing details :3! To start, I felt I needed to change this ground texture, it was still too flat. So I added some grass gradients and color spots and in the blender project distributed more flowers and grass around. But this wasn't close to being enough. What I thought I before achieved wasn't actually true, the whole scenery felt still too 'small'. I wasn't satisfied with it because it wasn't giving the feel of depth. So I made an EXTRA layer of hills around. Now it was 4 times the original area...

I started with the design of the head, and since I want to make the whole evolutionary line, I made it as small as I could, although it didn't allow me to add many details to the design. I continued with the body design, making it a very generic, simple insect body. Continue with the design of the legs, which was the highlight of the design. I think this pairing has rarely been seen, and I think it's ideal. I admit that I would like to know what powers these two might have so I can illustrate them in combat, but for now I will just focus on promoting a friendship between them. For this piece, I used two cats walking in a park (two small cats) as a reference. I made many sketches and I think I could have given a little more of myself, especially in the colouring, but I think I got pretty close to what the characters were like...
