As usual, I bring you a new work of art. I have previously been inspired by the same creature, as the technique I practice is very versatile and I can create different models of elements or of the same character as such. Today, inspired by the logo of the Holozing community, I decided to make a decorative figure of a Z, which I decorated with appliqués using the quilling technique...

For this drawing I used ink and paper, but today I’ll do something special: I’ll color it and bring it into digital format as part of my participation in the Lets Draw Bugs initiative. Here we have Cinella, this ladybug full of power, being lifted by Glimmo with all his strength above his head as part of his daily training. I began by importing my ink drawing into Ibis Paint and using its line extraction functionality to get a clean version of my sketch. Then I started coloring on the lower layers...

Well, I got down to work and decided to start with the sketch and main line art. In this case, my idea was that the Light Healer was on a kind of exploratory mission, searching for flying creatures such as birds (Chirple and Chirpily). Having already captured my idea in strokes, I continued with what would be the coloring process. In this case, I started with slightly more salmon tones as a base, and from there...

Today I decided to make a painting of our little Wrackoo. So I had this idea of drawing him as he is flying around so for this purpose I had to draw some kind of wings for him but that could be so weird so I decided to draw a cape for Wrackoo jus like the one that Superman has When I finished coloring Wrackoo I went on coloring the background. At first I wanted it to be the blue sky but since Wrackoo lives in jungles I decided to try drawing forests too. So after painting the trees...

It's about the year 2026, which in the Chinese calendar is represented by the Fire Horse. Somehow, an image popped into my head of a #miu playing with a toy horse, (I wanted to keep the fiery colors in this version of #miu, so it's like a shiny version of him, haha) and here, as always, I'll show you the creation process...

As usual in all my works, I like to start by making a preliminary sketch where I can establish more or less the appearance of the main character, which in this case would be (Wrackoo), but also the pose, the details of proportion, and so on. With the sketch and line art finished, I continue with the next step, coloring. In this case, I started with a color palette consisting mainly of green tones, from a me...

Before I start, I think I'll make another change to the style and brushes I've been using so far. Maybe I'll go back to the ones I used before, or something similar. I haven't decided yet. The shape of this character wasn't very complicated. Once the red sketch was ready, and after correcting some details of the proportions several times, I did the line art in black...

Started the bracelet by making flat knots in the following way: First I took the right strand, passed it over the base, made a P shape, then took the left strand, passed it over the right strand (which was on the left side), then passed it over the base and pulled it through the inside of the right strand (the P shape). Then I stretched the thread on each side evenly to make the knot. With your fingers you press it so that it is...

I decided to draw the Forest Healer for my return, since I think forests and nature have a great correlation to life and rejuvenation. Now, I wasn't dead or anything, but the activity here sure was.
I didn't want to go too crazy with the style and details this time, so I kept it rather simple and pretty to avoid burning and...
