RE: #GRATEFULVIBES - ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE/WEEKLY THOUGHTS - 17 JUL 2023 - 23 JUL 2023

Welcome back lovely lady, thanks for visiting! 😊

Yes, indeed it has been. We think so too, we're really excited every time we see a new pepper pop up and looking forward to harvesting/trying some of the new ones. The really spicy ones are not for us, they're going to be gifted to people that like the spice and also going out to the chickens as a natural deworming option. 😊

Thank you, I thought so too as I've never seen an albino spider before. Our daughter would hate the picture and ask me to burn the property down, she hates spiders that much, of course I wouldn't though, because I don't mind spiders, as long as they aren't crawling on my head or face. LOL! &#12852

I'm ready for bed, after another busy day, though its only 7pm so I'll have to wait a little longer as the chickens don't go to bed until around 9pm at this time of year. Well, I've had my post supper rest, that means it's time to go clean up the kitchen, so it doesn't look like a disaster in the morning. Baking from scratch sure takes up a lot of dishes, who knew, LOL! 😊

God bless you and your wonderful family. Have an awesome day my fabulous friend! 😊

Re: peppers as dewormer. They are a nightshade and should be used judiciously. Other wormers, also to be used judiciously, are wormwood, tansy, southernwood. Any squash/pumpkin seed had natural deworming properties, and these are less toxic.

Thanks for the tip...we might just use the squash seeds instead, to be safe. We like our flock and don't want to lose any of them right now, so we'll do our best to keep them healthy and happy. 😊

Cooking from scratch also takes a lot of dishes, as my brother has discovered living here.

Yes, that is true, but at least we know exactly what's in our food when we make it from scratch ourselves and we can almost always pronounce all the ingredients. (There are a few out there that give a lot of people trouble; like Worcestershire Sauce; though that's one I'll never use as I'm allergic to seafood/shellfish/fish, but it's still hard to say.) LOL! 😊
