Floating CLOUDS, humid vapors,
Tireless travelers of space,
That you wear the colors
From ruby, sapphire and topaz!
Seeing you pleases me; the sun illuminates you
And you have a magnificent curtain.
Clouds! silent messengers
Of the blue concave heights,
That you look showy
In the ether floating hangings;
Oh! How much the heart rejoices if I look
Your fickle and incessant spin!
