The other day....
It was raining cats and dogs the other day.... which had been a long wish of the farmers to fill their ponds to water their fields because of the drought. I was lucky not to have gone out on this day because of a DIY project at home. In the afternoon, the sky became clearer though some scattered clouds were there which were not really threatening. I guess the farmers had a field day.
I have seen the effect of the sun setting when the clouds are high and some of you who are cloud hunters must have experienced what happens in this case.
You have to be on alert and have the camera ready most of the time when the sun sets as it might give an amazing images like these.
The lapse of time comes in split seconds and the formation of the clouds changes depending on the wind that blows them all.
These are lucky images taken from my balcony since it is facing south. The sun is setting west though ( on the right side of the balcony), so it is difficult to get a full view of the setting sun. The days in Summer are longer so that from our side, the sun is partly hidden when it is in the final stage of going down behind the hills.

Sunset never fails to amaze me. Just by watching the sky with its vibrant hues of orange, makes us relax and warm.

The orange and yellow hues on the horizon, are truly breathtaking.
Yes, I haven't seen such colors in Summer, very rare... Just the other week I also saw such sunset which was also as nice. Thanks.
