Hello Cloud Lovers and Hivers!
I captured these cloud images during our trip in Carinthia last June. We booked a few days spending our time on a farm in Kärnten, Austria. It´s a beautiful skiing area that is part of the Austrian Alps and with its Lake called Millstätter See , the view was perfect. We planned to go kayaking/boat riding as the farm owner has a boat cabin down by the lake which is just about 700 meters by foot from out flat.
The plan did not materialize as it was raining all the time in the region. We booked this trip 2 months before and to think that mid-June is already Summer, nobody would think that it will rain for so many days. The plan to reach the highest peak in the region via a cable car also was cancelled. As you can see in the images, the roaring skies was full of dark clouds. It rained heavily in the night when this images were taken. As the weather forecasts were not good on the next day and the following days after , we decided to go home.

Hello Denise darl! Yes, it was devastating that it rained so much on that lovely place.
So much heat wave now, England's houses are burning, why couldn't the rain we had a month ago fall down there to stop the fire?!

The view up the sky is still beautiful despite the rains.
Indeed, that was why I took these images so I´d remember how the lake looked like despite the rain..remembrance kind of. Thanks for the visit.

The plans were cancelled, but the photos show how beautiful the lake and the place are, the truth is that the rain does not allow us to enjoy it on some occasions, but it is very necessary.
