Natural Wonders... Incredible UFOs Seen From Our Terrace (?) - Love The Clouds #130

Could they be UFOs?!

It had been so cloudy and windy the past days in our part of Andalusia. The weather predictions had not been so clear, partly cloudy and partly sunny. Clouds came and went. I always wait for a beautiful sunrise daily and a cloudy day would make a beautiful backdrop for the sunrise because of the reflection of the sunrays on the clouds.

The other day, I saw lovely cloud formations in our regions and the clouds formed lenticular shapes that look like UFOs. Because it was so windy, the clouds coming from the West towards the East direction easily formed a rounded and structured shape like they are whirlwinds.

As the air were moving rapidly, just like I said, a whirlwind ...they were moving round and round in a funnel or into a cylindrical shape.

A phenomenon we see here because we are surrounded by mountains, the Alpujarras region and behind this is the province of Granada, that also has the Sierra Nevada mountain range.

Lenticular Clouds ....how they are formed

Source
When air blows across a mountain range, in certain circumstances, it can set up a train of large standing waves in the air downstream, rather like ripples forming in a river when water flows over an obstruction. If there is enough moisture in the air, the rising motion of the wave will cause water vapour to condense, forming the unique appearance of lenticular clouds.

Such cloud formation stays for about half an hour until the clouds are dismantled and would go further to wherever the direction of the wind would be.

These photos are incredible, for their rarity and for their beauty. There is a theory that says that UFOs camouflage themselves in this type of clouds; and to be frank, it seems that these photos support that theory. Excellent shots. Thanks for sharing them. Happy Holidays and happy new year 2022.

Happy New Year to you too dear @sirenahippie and my best wishes to you and your family! Thank you for a lovely comment...who knows UFO might be using the clouds to enter the Earth...hahaha. Thanks too for liking the images!

Amazing cloud formations, really looked like UFOs, did you ever get scared even for a second?

Lolols...nope, not a bit! I´m used to these UFO thingy! I see them often here... The only creepy thing I could think of is that they might abduct me! bahahha.

The awesomeness!
I have ran accross a painting some time ago and it's very similar to this stunning photos of yours, it is indeed a fascinating view from your balcony.
Keep on sharing🎄

Maybe I should create a fiction, story of an abducted woman by the UFOs (lololols! ).. I'll use other clouds like this taken a couple of years ago. Salamuch!

That will be the best selling read for a lifetime, imagine aliens and women on earth hahaha🥂

This is awesome! What a scene!Yeah they look like UFOs . The clouds remind me of the movie Independence Day ...hahaha

That was what I thought so.. I love that movie.. Thanks for dropping by.

Amazing cloud formations!!! And of course great shots and beautifully captured! I'm in Awe!

Thanks darl @me2selah for liking the images... Happy New Year!

Looks like a painting! I am happy that you were able to capture this kind of Lenticular cloud formations, I guess they are rarely formed? Because I seldom see this kinds here in our city or even when I travel to other places in our region, haven't seen this one's yet. I am thankful you were at the right place at the right time. Maybe the clouds knew you are a nephophile so they decided to show you their gratitude by forming this awesome wonder.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, appreciate the lovely words.. Happy holidays!

Your welcome po Tita and likewise po have a Happy New Year.

Thank you my dear... stay safe!

Those are so cool, never heard of those clouds before!

Thank you. Maybe it´s because you haven´t seen one but they really appear in areas that have mountains and lowland and because of the windstream below, the clouds go in circular movement, thus having the effect of a flying saucer.
