Hello dear Hivers and members of the Love the Clouds Community!
This is my first post and my entry to Love the Clouds (#172) after an 8-month absence from the Hive platform because of a horrifying incident last Sept. 2022. I have been gathering cloud images though during that absence I have made a collection of those clouds mostly taken from my balcony. These images here were taken in Vienna.

Dies ist mein erster Beitrag und Eintrag zu Love the Clouds (#172) nach einer 8-monatigen Abwesenheit von der Hive-Plattform aufgrund eines schrecklichen Vorfalls im September 2022. Ich habe jedoch Wolkenbilder gesammelt und eine Sammlung dieser Wolken erstellt, die ich hauptsächlich von meinem Balkon aus aufgenommen habe. Diese Bilder hier wurden in Wien aufgenommen.
Our city is known for its gray in gray weather particularly in Winter. You may not see the sun the whole winter and that is why most people are fleeing to the South whenever they can. Being a person from a tropical country, I get depressed sometimes if I see dark clouds and don't see the sun. But life must go on and one will get used to it. Dark clouds may be devastating but on the other hand, rain is essential for crops to grow.
Unsere Stadt ist bekannt für ihr graues Wetter, besonders im Winter. Es kann sein, dass man den ganzen Winter über keine Sonne sieht, und deshalb flüchten die meisten Menschen in den Süden, wann immer sie können. Als jemand, der aus einem tropischen Land kommt, werde ich manchmal deprimiert, wenn ich dunkle Wolken sehe und die Sonne nicht zu sehen ist. Aber das Leben muss weitergehen und man wird sich daran gewöhnen. Dunkle Wolken können verheerend sein, aber auf der anderen Seite ist der Regen für das Wachstum der Pflanzen unerlässlich.
My balcony is south facing and that is why it is a good place to capture amazing cloud formations without leaving the flat. Depending on the speed of the wind, the cloud formations may vary in seconds so I see to it that the phone camera is ready all the time.
Mein Balkon ist nach Süden ausgerichtet und daher ein guter Ort, um erstaunliche Wolkenformationen einzufangen, ohne die Wohnung zu verlassen. Je nach Windgeschwindigkeit können sich die Wolkenformationen in Sekundenschnelle verändern, deshalb sorge ich dafür, dass die Handy Kamera immer bereit ist.

These moments seeing the dark clouds can be the best time to reflect and plan what's best for us until such time we see the sun again.

It's kinda sad looking at the dark clouds but they are reflective of life...there are also bright days ahead. Nice photo though. Good luck with the contest.
Indeed true, dark clouds could mean devastation, but sometimes it is necessary for the soil and for the farmers .. thanks for being here and leaving a comment, appreciate it!
