My love the clouds entry
I went for a last minute run on Thursday evening because I’d done no exercise all day and was feeling like a slob. And I’m so glad I did it! Not only did I get to jump into folk I hadn’t seen in a while and have an impromptu catchup, but the skies put on a serious show!!!
We live on the Cape Peninsula on the tip of Africa and We tend to catch the edge of every storm that comes past the South and this day there was yet another cold front moving in towards us.
I have a regular 5ish kilometre route that I like to follow and I was pumped to see that my time is improving. Slowly but surely I’m getting closer to my 6min/km mark. I’m yet to ever get below 6min but it’s not a race for me. It’s about being healthy, having fun and being outdoors.
A little while earlier along the coast
It’s absolutely amazing what you get to see if you just get outside. These were taken only 1 kilometre from my home and we feel very blessed to witness this beauty.
