#lovetheclouds contest entry
I had to take advantage of this gorgeous skyline today while we celebrated my moms birthday down at the Waterfront. It’s a beautiful harbour side development offering top notch shopping, boat cruises and international quality restaurants. As you can see the views are gorgeous and my mom wanted to take us all for breakfast. How can you say no!
The weather forecast is predicting a lot of rain from midnight tonight and a full day of rain tomorrow. So this gorgeous sight is the precursor for some stormy rainy dark weather tomorrow.
Weather in Cape Town is no joke as we often have 4 seasons in a day. If you’re local you know that you always pack and wear layers because our weather changes often and quickly. It’s sometimes hard to rely on the weather apps, especially at this time of year.
But for today we will enjoy the dappled sunshine and warmth. And of course my moms birthday and home baked cheese cake tonight.
Here’s one last view of Table Bay and the Cape Town CBD from my parents home on the slopes of Table Mountain.
