Splinterlands Battle Strategy, Card Positioning, and My Winning Experience

Splinterlands is a strategy-based card battle game where proper card selection, proper positioning, and the ability to adapt to the rules ultimately lead a player to victory. In today's battle, I was able to do just these three things well. The two screenshots that show the entire battle from start to finish clearly show that both the positioning and power of my cards helped me win.
Strong Team Formation Card Positioning at the Start Battle

At the start battle both teams entered field with energetic balanced aggressive cards. But the main advantage that my team had there was the correct lineup of cards.

In the first position, I placed a strong tank—a card with high health points and can withstand the opponent's damage for several rounds. Tank position is the most important in Splinterlands, because this is where the main blow comes. My tank card not only withstood the blows, but also sometimes turned the enemy's attacks in the opposite direction due to abilities like Backfire or Shield.

In the second position were my range or magic cards, whose attacks dealt consistent damage in each round. As you can see in the screenshot, there was a perfect coordination between my support cards and damage dealers. One card providing shield, another increasing speed - such support abilities made the team strong from the start.

The pressure of the opponent in the middle of the battle and the consistency of my cards
In the second position, we can see that the battle has reached the third round. This is where the turning point in the match is created. Some of the opponent's strong cards have already been weakened on the field, but my team still has 3-4 cards in a pretty good position.

My middle position card, which can do both speed boost and attack, continues to control the match wonderfully. Especially the card that was using Poison, Sneak or Opportunist ability, was able to target the weak cards behind the opponent and quickly take them out. The role of Sneak Attack in Splinterlands is amazing—because it can break the enemy team's backline, which ruins their strategy.

Another big advantage was—the Heal or Armor Repair ability of my Support card. It saved my tank several times that caused great damage to the opponent. Synergy combined power cards is the biggest key winning in Splinterlands and thats exactly what happened in this battle.
Analysis opponents weakness
The opponent setup was not too bad either. The speed attack his damage cards were good. But two big mistakes increased their odds—

Placing weak cards in tank positions His frontline card did not have enough health or armor, so it broke in the first two rounds. As a result, his backline was quickly exposed.
Lack of Support Cards His team did not have any cards with Armor Repair or Heal abilities. the faster they were getting damaged faster they were going out field.
Because this my teams continuous attacks and ability to survive each round were much more effective thanopponent.
The last round The moment secure victory
The battle reached last round (Round 13). At this point, the opponent had only 2 cards on field and both were very weak. On the other hand, my 3 cards were still standing strong. My team still had a strong damage dealer, a tank, and a support card active. The combination of this trio ultimately helped me win the match easily.

With the last blow, the opponent's last card also collapsed and the match ended with my secure victory. The screenshot after winning shows that your summoner level and the overall strength of the team worked much better than the opponent's.
The Importance of Cards
Three aspects of my cards were most effective in this battle—
- Proper Tank Selection
The high health, Shield, and Armor techniques of the tank cards helped me survive from start to finish.
- Speed and Support Ability
Speed Boost, Heal, Armor Repair—they didn't let my team break down as quickly as in other matches.
- Backline Attack Power
Sneak, Opportunity, and Ranged cards made the match easier by hitting the opponent's weak cards.

This battle was a classic example of Splinterlands strategy. Proper card selection, proper positioning, and team combination—these three things ultimately brought me victory. Just looking at the screenshots shows how solid and planned my card positions were.

It's always a pleasure to play such matches. Splinterlands becomes even more enjoyable when you see your plan work out properly on the field. My cards performed really well in this match, so the victory felt even more joyful.
