It's Friday night again, and I can finally take a break over the weekend. Recently, a major piece of news caught my attention: the U.S. SEC indirectly approved an Ethereum spot ETF. According to a Reuters report, the SEC has approved the listing of Ethereum spot ETFs on Nasdaq, the New York Stock Exchange, and the Chicago Board Options Exchange. This means that in the future, users can indirectly hold spot Ethereum by owning shares on these exchanges, similar to how Bitcoin ETFs work, which already saw a surge.
Will the listing of Ethereum spot ETFs benefit our Hive Blockchain? I think it will help to some extent in the long run, but despite all this good news, market prices don't seem to be going up; they’re mostly going down. Does this indirectly indicate that the real economy is in bad shape? In my country, the economy is indeed struggling, prices are rising, and people are complaining that the government isn't doing anything. Sigh, I might as well play some games and not think too much about it.
