Debo confesar que soy de esas que no se dan cuenta si las personas a quien admiran tienen tatuajes. A menos que sean muy notorios, puedo nombrar algunos, que no necesariamente son celebridades a las que sigo su trayectoria profesional.
Entre ellos, por ejemplo, el enorme diseño que luce Dwayne Johnson, conocido como La Roca, es difícil de no notarlo, así como también Adam Levine, el vocalista de la banda Maroon 5. Ambos catalogados entre los hombres más sexys del mundo.
Pero en aras de participar en esta iniciativa, buscando sobre diseños minimalistas, pues son los tipos de tatuaje que realmente me gustan, y para no hacer una publicación sobre algo que resulte evidente, empecé a hacer una investigación al respecto.
Por lo general, son las actrices, las que prefieren este tipo de diseños, sobre todo, porque dada la naturaleza de su trabajo, deben maquillarlos cuando de representar un personaje se trata. Obvio, hay excepciones como en toda regla.
Así que luego de hacer un pequeño barrido en la información, me encontré con uno que no solo me gustó por el diseño, sino también por donde está ubicado, y más aún, por el significado que tiene.
Se trata de la actriz y directora de cine Zelda Williams, hija del fallecido actor Robin Williams, quien en homenaje a su padre, lleva tatuado un colibrí en su mano.
Es un tatuaje con solo color negro, ubicado junto donde empieza su dedo pulgar.
De hecho, Williams compartió este tatuaje en IG, dándole las gracias a su tatuador, y explicando sobre el significado que le dio en ese momento.
Particularmente, me parece que es una hermoso diseño para recordar a su padre, quien más allá de ser una figura pública, fue para ella un ejemplo a seguir, y eso lo podemos notar por su inclinación hacia la actuación y la dirección de cine.
Los colibríes se dice que son seres espirituales, y que si alguno se acerca a ti, es para traer desde el más allá, un mensaje de algún ser querido que ya haya partido de plano.
Para mi, estas pequeñas aves, además de ser hermosas, representan la libertad, pero también una gran energía, pues siempre están en movimiento. Y si comparamos esto con la imagen pública de Robin Williams, ambos conceptos encajan sin tener que forzarse. Es por ello, que considero que es una linda expresión en tinta para rendirle honor a su progenitor.
Y es que hasta la ubicación del mismo lleva un mensaje implícito. Este tatuaje se encuentra en la mano derecha, como para que esté siempre a su alcance. Y en el dedo pulgar, que es el que se utiliza como símbolo de aprobación en la cultura occidental.
No siempre un tatuaje tiene una justificación, pero en el caso del colibrí en Zelda Williams, tiene no solo uno, sino muchos mensajes, tanto para ella, como para quienes tuvimos la dicha de conocer la obra de su padre cuando todavía vivía.

Even the location of the tattoo carries an implicit message. This tattoo is on the right hand, as if to always be within her reach and sight. And on the thumb finger, which is used as a symbol of approval in Western culture.
Not all tattoos have a justification, but in the case of the hummingbird on Zelda Williams, it has not only one, but many messages, both for her and for those of us who had the pleasure of knowing her father's work while he was still alive. A beautiful homage from a daughter to her father, in her view, and for everyone to see.
