Hola querida comunidad de HIVE 🌎💚, espero estén bien, hoy para mi es un gusto poder compartir con ustedes mi participación en la iniciativa realizada por la comunidad Holos&Lotus que nos invita a estar mas consientes del cuidado que le debemos a la madre tierra y compartir esos pequeños cambios que hacemos cada uno para reducir nuestra huella de contaminación.
Bajo la premisa principal de ♻️Reduce, Reúsa y Recicla♻️ hoy les estaré mostrando esos pequeños cambios que he puesto en practica en mi vida diaria para reducir la cantidad de basura que produzco en mi cuidado personal y así también reducir el plástico de un solo uso que va día con día a contaminar los mares y océanos de nuestra querida madre tierra 🦋.
Hello dear community of HIVE 🌎💚, I hope you are well, today for me it is a pleasure to share with you my participation in the initiative carried out by the community Holos&Lotus that invites us to be more aware of the care we owe to mother earth and to share those small changes that we each make to reduce our pollution footprint. Under the main premise of ♻️Reduce, Reuse and Recycle♻️ today I will be showing you those small changes that I have put into practice in my daily life to reduce the amount of garbage I produce in my personal care and also reduce the single-use plastic that goes day by day to pollute the seas and oceans of our dear mother earth 🦋
♻️🌎💚Las bolsas plásticas de supermercado, los pitillos, sorbetes o popotes como le digan en tu lugar de origen, los vasos de plástico y las botellas de agua toallas sanitarias, maquinas de afeitar, botellas de productos de limpieza, en algún momento te haz puesto a pensar cuantas de estas has usado hasta ahora y cuantas mas usaras en el resto de tu vida? para mi fue un gran imparto darme cuenta de la gran cantidad de basura que había generado hasta el momento que me hice consiente de esto y decidí hacer un cambio.
The plastic grocery bags, straws, straws or straws as they call them in your place of origin, plastic cups and water bottles, sanitary napkins, razors, bottles of cleaning products, have you ever thought about how many of these you have used so far and how many more you will use in the rest of your life? For me it was a great shock to realize how much garbage I had generated until the moment I became aware of this and decided to make a change.
Es impactante encontrar que desde nuestro nacimiento estamos produciendo grandes cantidades de desechos que en muchos casos no pueden ser reciclados y duraran mucho mas tiempo que mi persona sobre este planeta como los pañales y que contaminan no solo la tierra sino también los océanos dañando de esta manera la vida silvestre, marina y la tierra de cultivo.
It is shocking to find that since our birth we are producing large amounts of waste that in many cases cannot be recycled and will last much longer than my person on this planet such as diapers and that pollute not only the earth but also the oceans thus damaging wildlife, marine and farmland.
Por eso les presento algunas de los cambios que hice para poner mi granito de arena y reducir mi marca de contaminación, no están en orden de importancia y de aplicación en el tiempo mas bien son desde cambios generales hasta algunos mas personales que llevaron tiempo de reflexión y conocimiento personal.
Therefore I present some of the changes I made to do my bit and reduce my pollution mark, they are not in order of importance and application over time but rather are from general changes to some more personal ones that took time for reflection and personal knowledge.
Todo cambio lleva tiempo y no te digo que tienes que desacerté de todo el plástico que te rodea para poder ayudar al medio ambiente pues eso solo generaría mas basura, siempre debes sacarle el máximo provecho a las cosas que tienes antes de decidir que ya no tienen mas vida útil para ti no para nadie.
Every change takes time and I'm not saying that you have to get rid of all the plastic around you in order to help the environment because that would only generate more garbage, you should always make the most of the things you have before deciding that they no longer have a useful life for you, not for anyone else.
En la imagen puedes ver que tengo una bolsa reusable que me hizo mi hermana con materiales de provecho, es de una loneta muy resistente que me acompaña al super cada que tengo que comprar frutas y verduras para evitar lo máximo posible las presentaciones preenvasadas. Las bolsas que ya tenia las reusó lo mas posible y al llegar a casa las lavo y preparo para su próximo uso.
In the picture you can see that I have a reusable bag that my sister made for me with some useful materials, it is made of a very resistant canvas that accompanies me to the supermarket every time I have to buy fruits and vegetables to avoid pre-packaged presentations as much as possible. I reuse the bags I already had and when I get home I wash them and prepare them for their next use.
Los termos son una gran inversión, actualmente tengo dos uno para agua y otro para bebidas calientes calientes como te o café, llevan un buen tiempo conmigo, el plateado alrededor de 5 años y sigue cumpliendo de manera maravillosa su función.
Thermoses are a great investment, I currently have two, one for water and one for hot beverages like tea or coffee, they have been with me for quite some time, the silver one for about 5 years and it is still doing its job wonderfully.
Los pitillos son mas nuevos, los de la imagen me costaros 1.5$ el juego de 4 pitillos y el cepillo limpiador, fue un cambio por el planeta y para mi salud, no les ha pasado que cuando les ofrecen uno de estos están en un envase donde todo el mundo mete la mano para tomar uno y generalmente sobre un mostrador donde las personas hablan o tosen.... sino vienen el empaques individuales de plástico o papel.
The straws are newer, the ones in the picture cost me 1.5$ the set of 4 straws and the cleaning brush, it was a change for the planet and for my health, it has not happened to you that when you are offered one of these they are in a container where everyone reaches in to take one and usually on a counter where people talk or cough .... but they come in individual plastic or paper packages.
Antes prefería simplemente no usarlos pero encontré esta opción que me pareció mas higiénica, personal y consiente con el medio ambiente. También tengo un juego de cubiertos que uso cuando salgo, no lo compre! lo arme con los dispares que ya tenia por casa solo que los tengo exclusivamente para comer fuera.
I used to prefer not to use them but I found this option to be more hygienic, personal and environmentally friendly. I also have a set of cutlery that I use when I go out, I didn't buy it! I put it together with the ones I already had at home but I have them exclusively for eating out.
Este es otro de esos pequeños grandes cambios y es el uso de una Rasuradora reusable, esta opción genera mucho menos desechos que las desechables hechas de platico, que además de ayudar a reducir gastos en el cuidado personal también reduce el uso de plásticos de un solo uso.
This is another one of those little big changes and it is the use of a reusable razor, this option generates much less waste than disposable ones made of plastic, which in addition to helping reduce expenses in personal care also reduces the use of single-use plastics.
La mía es de las mas sencillas y me costo un poco conseguirla no las venden en cualquier parte como las de platico, esta compuesta por tres partes mas la hojilla que es la parte que se recambia. los repuestos se consiguen en paquetes de tres y los venden es paquetes de cartón envueltos en papel.
Mine is one of the simplest and it cost me a little to get it, they do not sell them anywhere like the plastic ones, it is composed of three parts plus the blade which is the part that is replaced. The spare parts are available in packs of three and are sold in cardboard packages wrapped in paper.
Otra de las cosas que tengo es una depiladora eléctrica, es recargable no usa baterías pero no creo que sea la opción para todo el mundo porque si puede resultar algo incomoda y un poco dolorosa de usar además de representar una inversión importante pero redujo mi uso de cera para depilar la tengo desde hace mucho tiempo.
Another thing I have is an electric epilator, it is rechargeable, it doesn't use batteries but I don't think it is the option for everyone because it can be a little uncomfortable and a little painful to use and it represents an important investment but it reduced my use of wax to epilate, I've had it for a long time.
Este cambio fue el primero y creo que fue el que me hizo hacerme consiente de la necesidad de un cambio para mi y para poder ayudar al planeta, también representa una decisión muy personal la cual requiere un gran autoconocimiento y investigación.

Son pequeños cambios que a largo plazo significaran mucho, me encanto las cosas que haces para ayudar a nuestro medio ambiente y aparte de ayudarlo es generoso con nuestro bolsillo porque solo debemos hacer una buena inversión y listo, como es el caso de la copa menstrual.
Hola!! muchas gracias por tu comentario, me alegra mucho poder leer tu opinión. no soy una experta en el tema pero se trata de tomar conciencia de todo lo que nos rodera y poco a poco ir modificando ciertas cosas. con la copa menstrual fue una gran experiencia que me hizo mas consiente que mis gastos en cuidado personal e impacto al medio ambiente, me motivo a buscar opciones mas sostenibles.
