Nuestros padres así como nosotros hemos sido padres han buscado la forma de mantener quizás una línea familiar en cuanto a darle nombres a los hijos.
En mi caso mis padres tenían en mente a mi tía por parte de mi madre solo que hubo un error en el momento de la escritura, mi nombre se escribe Edith y mi tía se llama Eddy, generalmente en su honor me colocaron igual a ella, pero con el segundo nombre que en realidad nunca en la vida me ha gustado pero bueno no puedo borrármelo es Coromoto. En la escuela los maestros casi siempre me llamaban por ambos nombre y odiaba cuando me decían ¡Coromoto! y los compañeros decían de inmediato ¡prende la moto!. Y m enfurecía demasiado, pero bueno ya después fue pasando el tiempo y ya no le daba importancia.
Y siempre les preguntaba por qué Coromoto, y es honor a la Virgen Coromoto y yo pues como no creo en vírgenes ni nada de eso bueno no insistí mas en el tema.
Y si le pregunte al tío google y me dijo lo siguiente:
Edith es un nombre de origen es anglosajón, compuesto por los vocablos ingleses que “Ead”, que significa riqueza, y “gyð” que quiere decir lucha o guerra. Por lo tanto, su etimología proviene de Eadgyð, que quiere decir “la que lucha por las riquezas”.fuente
No creía todas estas cosas sobre mi nombre estoy anonadada…… ósea yo una Luchadora por la riqueza, que emoción……
Y sobre todo lo que trae consigo mi nombre que dice que:
Edith es una persona dulce, amable, responsable y valiente. También le gusta soñar a lo grande, por lo que sus proyectos son ambiciosos y lucha por alcanzar lo que se propone. Por otra parte, es sensible y vulnerable ante las injusticias, lo que a veces hace que se torne algo fría para aparentar, cuando realmente lo que intenta es no involucrarse demasiado para evitar el sufrimiento. Me encanta aún más mi nombre. Y si acertado están sobre, que soy una persona dulce, amable muy muy responsable y valiente, solo me falta el escudo y la espada, jajjaaja.

Bueno al principio de mi época de la secundaria, conseguí a varios chicos que también se llamaban igual que yo bueno en el caso de ellos su nombre se escribía como el de mi tía EDDY, y bueno yo decía me h colocado nombre de niño pero bueno me aliviaba yo misma diciéndome el mio se escribe diferente por lo tanto es de niña y así pasaron los años.
Muchas personas tendían a decirme Judith, y yo les recordaba en varia oportunidades que era Edith.
Para mi consideración y ya que tengo mas de treinta años con una personalidad establecida y con ganas de seguir echándole a esta vida considero que el significado de mi nombre es:
- Paciencia
- Amor
- Responsabilidad
- Tolerancia
- Respeto
- Lealtad
- Confidente
- Hija
- Esposa
- Madre
- Lucha.

Our parents as well as we have been parents have looked for ways to perhaps maintain a family line in terms of naming our children.
In my case my parents had in mind my aunt on my mother's side only that there was a mistake at the time of writing, my name is spelled Edith and my aunt's name is Eddy, generally in her honor I was placed equal to her, but with the second name that actually never in life I have liked but well I can not erase it is Coromoto. I didn't believe all these things about my name I am dumbfounded...... ie me a Fighter for Wealth, what a thrill......
And especially what my name brings with it that says that:

I love my name even more. And yes right you are about, that I am a sweet person, kind very very responsible and brave, I just lack the shield and sword, hahahaha.

Well at the beginning of my high school days, I got several guys who also had the same name as me, well in their case their name was spelled like my aunt EDDY's, and well I used to say me h placed boy's name but well I relieved myself by telling myself mine is spelled differently so it is a girl's name and so the years went by.
Many people tended to call me Judith, and I reminded them several times that it was Edith.
For my consideration and since I am more than thirty years old with an established personality and with the desire to keep on giving my best in life, I consider that the meaning of my name is:
- Patience
- Love
- Responsibility
- Tolerance
- Respect
- Loyalty
- Confident
- Daughter
- Wife
- Mother
- Struggle.
Those terms define my name, and my name defines my personality.

Tu nombre tiene mucha fuerza. Es mas creo que eres una gran empresaria o emprendedora. Ahora tengo una pregunta, tienes similitudes con tu tía, en honor a quien te dieron el nombre, sería interesante que lo averiguaras.
Hola si precisamente mi tía y yo tenemos mucha similitud ni me habia fijado...ella es muy especial, bueno ella si es empresaria, es tremenda persona.
Es un buen nombre y yo creo que el de Coromoto también porque al fin de cuentas todos los nombres indígenas tienen un significado y no son sacados de la nada. Saludos 🤗
