Apreciados lectores, compañeros de letras gracias por encontrarnos en estas líneas… Son tiempos tan desafiantes, la vida es desafiante, por eso siempre les digo en mis talleres y consultas que la vida, la verdadera vida, es solo para valientes.
La vida, para quienes hemos decidido vivirla con los ojos abiertos definitivamente es un desafío, esa búsqueda de nosotros mismos, dentro de nosotros mismo y mantenernos en esa comunión para crecer, madurar y evolucionar es todo un reto.
En estos tiempos de pandemia, hemos experimentado un huracán de emociones, nos hemos descubierto en muchas facetas, para los que continuamos en esta parte de la vida el aprendizaje es infinito.
El contacto con eso que llamamos muerte siempre es transformador, cuando alguien amado muere, una parte de nosotros, de nosotras también muere.
Sobre esa experiencia con la muerte no les contare hoy… HOY, dedicare cada una de estas letras a unos seres especiales, únicos, maravillosos y peludos, nuestras mascotas, esos peludos que forman parte de la familia, son capaces de meterse en todos los espacios, en todos lados, incluso dentro de nuestro corazón y allí se quedan para siempre.
Hay quienes prefieren adoptar perros, otros gatos, por supuesto también los que no pueden decidirse y terminan conviviendo con perros y gatos, eso de “como perros y gatos” paso a la historia, vemos como conviven estos peludos amándose, echando por tierra todos los paradigmas de mala convivencia, aprendamos de ellos.
Algunas personas dicen que son ángeles de la guarda, yo también lo digo y ¡cómo no decirlo, si es así!. Resulta que estos peludos siempre están atentos, sabemos que cuando no ha llegado un integrante de la familia se quedan muy cerca de la puerta si es perro o muy cerca de la ventana si es gato, a esperar pacientemente la llegada del que falta, además conocen nuestras rutinas de salida y retorno al hogar. Su entusiasmo es evidente cuando se aproxima ese otro integrante de la “manada”. Son pura alegría.
El afecto que desbordan es sincero, aunque sea gato, aquellos que dicen que los gatos son antipáticos, traicioneros o interesados, es porque jamás han tenido la bendición de ser amado por un posesivo y apasionado felino de suave pelaje y ojos tiernos color pistacho, se dice que los gatos cuidan el cuerpo energético de sus dueños y los perros el cuerpo físico.
La calidez que brindan en momentos de enfermedad es especial, son los mejores enfermeros y la compañía en los caminos tristes de la vida es irremplazable, siempre son buenos niñeros y toleran con paciencia jalones de orejas, rabo y patas de los más pequeños, además practican la telepatía, conocen nuestras emociones e intenciones sobre todo si el agua y jabón está cerca o el medicamento prescrito por el veterinario, en eso los gatos les ganan a los perros, son mucha más intuitivos.
Como a todos, a estos compañeros peludos, también les llega el turno de decir adiós y tomarse un descanso, todo tiempo su tiempo y su hora en este mundo físico. Su ausencia es irreparable, la tristeza y el dolor por la pérdida es profunda.
Quienes no han tenido una mascota difícilmente lo entienden, los que hemos disfrutado del amor perruno o gatuno sabemos la magnitud de la pérdida y del vacío cuando se llega a casa y no están para darnos la bienvenida. En ese momento sabemos que la “manada” ahora no será la misma, porque resulta que la mascota ha domesticado a la familia, la transformó enseñándole amor incondicional, compañía y fidelidad.
Paso a paso con el tiempo, ese dolor vacío en nuestro corazón dará paso a un amor mucho más profundo…
Sasha me encontró en un sueño, me miró con sus ojos de pistacho y me dijo que el cielo está lleno de perros y gatos, además que Key mi perro, me había enviado unos cuantos ladridos y movimientos de cola porque estaba muy ocupado compartiendo un hueso con Samanta y Mafalda siempre tan fiel y amada, le di las gracias por su amor infinito, por rescatarme siempre incluso de mi misma y la dejé libre para jugar y perseguir mariposas en el cielo.
Así que ya lo saben, el cielo está lleno de perros y gatos, sus mascotas no estarán solas cuando les llegue el momento de partir a descansar, hay que dejarlos ir en libertad y con agradecimiento, han pasado mucho tiempo cuidándonos, acompañándonos y siempre tendrán un lugar en la manada y nuestros corazones.

In these times of pandemic, we have experienced a hurricane of emotions, we have discovered ourselves in many facets, for those who continue in this part of life the learning is infinite. The contact with what we call death is always transforming, when someone we love dies, a part of us, of us also dies.
TODAY, I will dedicate each of these letters to some special, unique, wonderful and furry beings, our pets, those furry ones that are part of the family, they are able to get into every space, everywhere, even inside our heart and there they stay forever.
There are those who prefer to adopt dogs, other cats, of course also those who can not decide and end up living with dogs and cats, that "like cats and dogs" is history, we see how these furry coexist loving each other, throwing to the ground all the paradigms of bad coexistence, let's learn from them.
Some people say that they are guardian angels, I also say so, and how could I not say it, if it is so! It turns out that these furry ones are always attentive, we know that when a member of the family has not arrived they stay very close to the door if it is a dog or very close to the window if it is a cat, waiting patiently for the arrival of the missing one, they also know our routines of departure and return home. Their enthusiasm is evident when that other member of the "herd" approaches. They are pure joy.
Those who say that cats are unfriendly, treacherous or interested, it is because they have never had the blessing of being loved by a possessive and passionate feline of soft fur and tender pistachio color eyes, it is said that cats take care of the energetic body of their owners and dogs take care of the physical body.
The warmth they provide in times of illness is special, they are the best nurses and the company in the sad paths of life is irreplaceable, they are always good babysitters and patiently tolerate pulling ears, tails and paws of the little ones, they also practice telepathy, they know our emotions and intentions especially if the water and soap is near or the medicine prescribed by the veterinarian, in that cats beat dogs, they are much more intuitive.
