It would be very sad and exhausting to feel as though you had to wear a mask all the time. I think about my father, in this regard, he was unapologetically himself no matter where he was or who he was with. I hope you've had a wonderful week Nancy! Winter is still flexing its muscles here but the days are getting longer.

Hello, dear friend! There is one characteristic that sets past generations apart: they were genuine. They weren't as socially exposed. Today, many of the things our parents did would be punished or labeled as “reckless or antisocial.” What a shame what you say about winter! I hope the good weather arrives soon. Hugs.
Good morning! There were definitely more genuine people before the age of social media. The trouble with political correctness and presenting a false persona is it doesn't change how people feel inside—it causes the them to wear the mask you were speaking of.
Thanks! Thankfully we're at the tail end of winter now. There's a little more light every day but the temperatures are all over the place. From -7 to the 40's. You must have a strong soul or some strong drinks to get you through winter here. Lol. Hugs to you my friend.
