El Sol Centro de Energía
Comienzo mi participación felicitando a Holos & Lotus por su primer cumpleaños y augurarle un extenso crecimiento, por su capacidad de acción dentro de la comunidad. Y gracias por este concurso con un tema tan al alcance de la mano.
El Sol es el centro del Sistema Solar, al cual pertenecemos y al igual que los otros planetas del sistema, giramos en torno a él. ¿Recuerdan esas enseñanzas?
El sol es el centro de energía de todo su sistema, nosotros terrestres afortunados, dependemos de él y disfrutamos de una equilibrada distribución de las horas con luz (día) y las horas sin ella (noche); en otras palabras cuando estamos de cara al sol recibimos su luz, cuando estamos de espaldas, tenemos oscuridad porque la luz del Sol llega a la otra mitad de la Tierra, que hace su rotación de 24 horas. Pero eso todos los adultos los sabemos, pues lo enseñan muy bien en las escuelas.
¿Y la luna? Pues es otra historia. Es nuestro satélite, gira alrededor de la Tierra, pero no tiene luz propia. Ella también recibe la luz del sol y la refleja. Así que, debemos agradecer al Sol, la iluminación de nuestros días y nuestras noches.
Primer agradecimiento al sol: La luz del día y de la noche.
Además de la iluminación, el sol nos regala calor, éste varía según la zona geográfica en la cual se viva y las horas del día, en unas es muy intenso y en otras nos deja sentir frío, pero ahí está su calor para los habitantes de la tierra.
Lo cierto es que la combinación de luz y calor son indispensables para la vida en el planeta Tierra, al menos tal como la conocemos.
Nos regala calor y broncea
Segundo agradecimiento al sol: El calor que nos alegra la vida.
La radiación solar es una fuente de energía, que permite producir luz en la oscuridad y neutralizar el frío.
El ser humano investigador y creador por naturaleza, desde la pre-historia, hizo uso del fuego. Y la energía térmica fue utilizada para cocinar los alimentos y para caldear sus refugios. Y de allí surgen también las primeras luminarias, por combustión de algunos materiales.
Los hidrocarburos dominaron la producción de energía térmica durante mucho tiempo, la electricidad comenzó a competir con ellos sólo recientemente. ¿Y el sol? Mirando como destruíamos bosques y subsuelos, mientras su energía calórica era poco utilizada y el medio ambiente se contaminaba.
Y llegó el reinado de la electricidad, energía más limpia y renovable, pero que se haciendo cada vez más costosa y con mayor número de requerimientos. Y el Hombre vuelve a mirar al sol, como fuente de energía. Así nacen los paneles solares
En Europa se ven esos paneles por todos lados. Los edificios los muestran en las plantas de techo o azoteas. Abaratan la electricidad y funcionan para la climatización de los ambientes y también para calentar el agua.
Tercer agradecimiento al sol: Por ser generador de energía de energía eléctrica, mediante de la tecnología.
La tecnología de los paneles solares está en expansión. Los últimos diseños abarcan mayor cantidad de usos, tanto en áreas industriales como en el hogar. Como su descripción y análisis no es objeto de este artículo, les dejo una referencia bastante interesante que pueden leer al respecto:

Solar radiation is a source of energy, which allows to produce light in the dark and neutralize the cold.
