Una introducción necesaria
Debo decir que algunos elementos iniciales me fueron alumbrando el camino hacia esta publicación y, por fin, he podido concluirla, al menos, por el momento.
Resulta que en conversaciones con algunos hivers me han preguntado por qué sigo publicando en Hive, cuál es la razón por la que sigo aquí si es más el trabajo que paso que los beneficios que recibo o por qué no me he ido si las publicaciones no siempre las monetizan bien.
Esta última pregunta me hizo reflexionar y aproveché para crear una publicación y dejarles mis opiniones en torno al tema.
Las redes sociales y yo
Como he dicho en otras ocasiones nací en la era analógica, pero, parte de mi vida la he desarrollado en la era digital. Por más que no comprenda muchos términos ni domine funciones o algoritmos de funcionamiento de programas y redes sociales hace tiempo asumí que era inevitable estar en el mundo digital y las redes sociales o dejaría de existir en vida.
A partir de mucho estudio, explicaciones de jóvenes e informáticos me fui adentrando en Facebook, Twitter, YouTube y fui aprendiendo lo básico. Es cierto que estas redes me permitieron una interacción con muchos compañeros, pero, no sabía mucho más de estas redes y su utilidad.
La llegada de Hive a mi vida
Si hubo algo que tuvo este ecosistema cuando me hablaron de él fue mucha incertidumbre porque ya había escuchado de estafas y mentiras en muchos compañeros. Sin embargo, hubo una explicación convincente de @theinfiltred y @nony; además, el hacer un recorrido inicial por parte de su universo comprendí que estaba ante una red social diferente.
Y no es que sea perfecta, pero el leer en cada comunidad la existencia de reglas que hablaban de respeto, publicación de contenido de calidad, libertad de expresión, no marginar, cuidar la ortografía y evitar el fraude o el plagio terminó por abrir mis ojos a esta aventura del saber y el conocimiento.
Si todo lo anterior no bastase, también recibías una compensación por tus publicaciones. Por supuesto, todo esto era inédito para mí y, a pesar de que todavía tenía algunas dudas, las primeras publicaciones comenzaron a convencerme de estar en la red social adecuada.
Ha sido largo el camino, con muchos tropiezos, incomprensiones, molestias, pero también de mucho goce, disfrute y aprendizaje.
Sin embargo, lo que ha motivado esta publicación son ejemplos de ayuda y apoyo hacia abejas de este gran panal, incluso, hacia personas que no están dentro de la red social.
Dentro de estos ejemplos están la ayuda brindada por #hivecuba a damnificados por inclemencias del tiempo en la parte oriental del país, la propuesta hecha desde #hiveargentina, #Holos&Lotus, #mundo.autismo y otras en función de una causa por cuestiones de salud u otras necesidades.
Lo anterior me ha hecho reflexionar y explicarle a muchos qué #hive es mucho más que una red social de monetización.
Siete elementos que ratifican, a juicio del autor, que Hive es bienestar y mucho más que monetización
•Desde muchos lugares del universo se realizan proyectos de apoyo a poblaciones vulnerables, con el concurso, recursos y ayuda de esta red social para esas personas.
•El carácter solidario de muchas iniciativas que se hacen para ayudar a hivers del ecosistema que necesitan de nuestra ayuda.
•La inversión de recursos alcanzados en el ecosistema, para ayudar a niños y ancianos que están solos o abandonados.
•La realización de eventos convocados por las comunidades y/o miembros de la colmena con el objetivo de conocer sobre nuestra red social e involucrarnos en proyectos de beneficio social.
•El crecimiento personal y profesional de las abejas que hacen vida en este panal porque para poder aspirar a ampliar el número de publicaciones en las comunidades es necesario estudiar, consultar e investigar.
•En varias comunidades se hacen propuestas para ayudar a personas con discapacidad, vulnerabilidad o que están desprotegidas, siendo #holos-lotus un ejemplo en este sentido.
•La gran familia que se ha logrado formar y las amistades que se han conseguido. Puedo decir, sin temor a equivocarme que por las venas de todos los que habitamos en esta plataforma corre sangre digital y, eso nos hace familia.
Un comentario final
Lo anterior no quiere decir que no me guste la monetización porque sería mentir. Pero les puedo asegurar que muchas veces hay comentarios de muchos hivers que son más valiosos que los recursos que puedan venir de una recompensa económica.
También es cierto que, en la medida que avanzas, ves el camino recorrido y la ayuda brindada y recibida entiendes que el beneficio social que brindas es mayor que el dinero que puedas recibir porque como he dicho y diré siempre: Hive no es para hacerse rico.

A necessary introduction
I have been thinking about an idea in my head for some time now and it has finally taken shape and I wanted to express my opinion about it.
I must say that some initial elements were lighting the way to this publication and, finally, I have been able to conclude it, at least, for the moment.
It turns out that in conversations with some hivers I have been asked why I keep publishing in Hive, what is the reason why I am still here if it is more the work I spend than the benefits I receive or why I have not left if the publications do not always monetize them well.
This last question made me think and I took the opportunity to create a post and leave you my opinions on the subject.
Social networks and me
As I have said in other occasions I was born in the analog era, but, part of my life I have developed in the digital era. Even though I do not understand many terms or master functions or algorithms of operation of programs and social networks, some time ago I assumed that it was inevitable to be in the digital world and social networks or I would cease to exist in life.
From a lot of study, explanations from young people and computer scientists I was getting into Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and I was learning the basics. It is true that these networks allowed me to interact with many colleagues, but I did not know much more about these networks and their usefulness.
The arrival of Hive in my life
If there was something about this ecosystem when I was told about it, it was a lot of uncertainty because I had already heard of scams and lies from many peers. However, there was a convincing explanation from @theinfiltred and @nony; moreover, after an initial tour through part of its universe I understood that I was facing a different social network.
And it is not that it is perfect, but reading in each community the existence of rules that spoke of respect, publication of quality content, freedom of expression, not marginalizing, taking care of spelling and avoiding fraud or plagiarism ended up opening my eyes to this adventure of knowledge and knowledge.
If all of the above were not enough, you also received compensation for your publications. Of course, all this was unprecedented for me and, although I still had some doubts, the first publications began to convince me that I was in the right social network.
It has been a long road, with many stumbles, misunderstandings, annoyances, but also a lot of joy, enjoyment and learning.
However, what has motivated this publication are examples of help and support to bees of this great honeycomb, even to people who are not in the social network.
Among these examples are the help provided by #hivecuba to victims of inclement weather in the eastern part of the country, the proposal made from #hiveargentina, #Holos&Lotus, #mundo.autismo and others based on a cause for health issues or other needs.
The above has made me reflect and explain to many that #hive is much more than a monetization social network.
Seven elements that confirm, in the author's opinion, that Hive is welfare and much more than monetization
- In many parts of the world, projects are being carried out to support vulnerable populations, with the support, resources and help of this social network for these people.
- The solidarity character of many initiatives that are made to help hivers of the ecosystem that need our help.
- The investment of resources raised in the ecosystem, to help children and the elderly who are alone or abandoned.
- The realization of events convened by the communities and/or members of the hive with the objective of learning about our social network and getting involved in projects of social benefit.
- The personal and professional growth of the bees that make life in this hive because in order to aspire to expand the number of publications in the communities it is necessary to study, consult and investigate.
- In several communities proposals are made to help people with disabilities, vulnerability or who are unprotected, being #holos-lotus an example in this sense.
- The great family that has been formed and the friendships that have been achieved. I can say, without fear of being wrong, that digital blood runs through the veins of all of us who live on this platform, and that makes us family.
A final comment
The above is not to say that I don't like monetization because that would be lying. But I can assure you that many times there are comments from many hivers that are more valuable than the resources that can come from an economic reward.
It is also true that, as you move forward, you see the road traveled and the help given and received, you understand that the social benefit you provide is greater than the money you can receive because as I have said and I will always say: Hive is not for getting rich.
