Hello hive friends, today, as always, joining the initiative of my friend @damarysvibra, to tell you about my personal story with patience.

Since I was very little patience has not been part of my virtues, my mom tells me that when I was 4 months pregnant she had an abortion threat, because I wanted to go out into the world, and always with a lot of laughter I tell her, how do you expect me to be patient now 21 years later.

Always when they were going to buy me a toy, I spent too much time thinking about how it was going to be to have it in my hands, they could not offer me anything, because although I tried to hide it, I was always desperate for that moment to arrive.

My cousins would come to visit me and they always wanted them to arrive now, I was always very anxious for things to arrive quickly, however, sometimes I wonder, could it be that my time in this life is going to be short, that the girl I was was always in a hurry to do the things I wanted quickly, without wasting any time.
Today, 21 years later, I am still too impatient, in the same way I was when I was little, only that, when those moments come, I try to direct my attention to something else temporarily while what I want arrives.

It has become very difficult for me, because sometimes I just want to live now, that everything is right now when I want it, and ignoring the fact that there is a future that awaits us all, and that there are things that cannot be given now.

The same thing happens to me with my dreams and projects, they are always in my mind, and for short periods of time, I get frustrated and say that I am not going to achieve them, and I get desperate, but thank God, there is my mom, the most patient person in the world, and she always tells me, you want to do everything now, but there are things that take time, but you will achieve them, and I start to recover my peace.

Right now I'm longing for a new phone, and I dream that I'm going to buy it, it's in my thoughts quite a few moments a day, I've watched a lot of youtube videos about it, so, before I make any purchase or any decision, I wait a few days, because I know that I can, out of impatience, make a hasty decision.

That is one of the tools I use to calm down and practice patience, when I want something with a lot of feeling, and it is something that I can acquire quickly, I let a few days pass, I have patience in giving it to myself, and when I feel that I have calmed down, I go and buy it, without a doubt I enjoy it more, because sometimes the adrenaline that you feel with the desperation and impatience does not allow you to live and see the moment as it really is.

Likewise, as I said a few lines above, when things take a little while to arrive, and I am very anxious or desperate, in order not to lose my peace of mind I take my attention away from it, and I focus on something else, and almost always when I am doing it, or in the middle of it, what I was waiting for arrives, and well.

Always, with the help of my mom I try to practice patience exercises, because I am very desperate, and it is a characteristic that I am always trying to improve.

I hope you like it, and it works for those who are like me, desperate. Patience is a wonderful virtue, let's cultivate it, always first with ourselves, and then towards the world and other people, kisses and blessings.
