Hello friends, a little lost from around here but always up to date on what's happening. When you read this post you might think it belongs in other communities, but since Holos is the community that helps me take steps towards growth, you'll realize that when you read it at the end.

Because of my age, I don't remember when I became resistant to change and attached to customs, but this weekend my family invited me to a house on the beach. I came up with every excuse I could think of: what was I going to do in a place where I can't swim? It wasn't summer. How was I going to share a place with three different generations? We take our elders everywhere.
I couldn't find a justification, but I remembered that Holos is about personal growth, new goals and learning, and I decided to give it a try.

I didn't understand anything, to me everything was chaos, surrounded by crazy young people, leaving clothes and flip-flops everywhere, listening to their music and at the same time singing that mix of music and laughter sounded like a racket to me, anyway I remembered what I learned in hive to accept that we all have a space, so I decided to learn too.
The first thing was the sunrise; hectic life doesn't allow us to stop and admire it, so that morning coffee tasted different; that's when I started to win.

The young people of my generation mostly went camping in what were called "popular campsites," another style of fun, but here I had a great challenge: lighting a charcoal stove. Of course, because of my age, they thought I knew how, and then we all gathered around it.
It was quite a discovery. Some said to start with paper, others that you had to fill it with easily combustible liquid, and all I remembered was that you had to blow air into it. We spent the whole day with trial and error until we managed to light an ember, always with the help of technology.
They don't leave it behind, though: a rechargeable fan. However, that moment was filled with laughter, sharing it all together,
without noticing that there were two beautiful cats, but just like us, they were hunting for food, and so, in a moment of inattention, they put their skills to the test and took some of it from us.
It was a different kind of weekend, but why put it in holos? Well, simple: I learned that a little chaos in our lives is sometimes necessary. Not everything can be order and clean because routines can also be unhealthy.
I learned that with respect and joy, we can unite as many generations as there are, that we all have that capacity for adaptation; what's difficult is leaving our comfort zone.
And to improve our health, those small changes that we sometimes don't accept are necessary.

I returned renewed with a new vision and willingness to continue contributing to the improvement of my mental health and my overall well-being, even though some cats played a trick on me.
I also learned that they will do anything to survive, just like us, and therefore I shouldn't judge them so harshly. Thank you, Holos.
