Greetings friends of #Hive and community @visualshots, I wish you have an excellent and blessed week in union with your loved ones, these days have been very busy, running errands with my son which took us to Bolívar Street where there are some buildings of colonial origin, it is a typical street of this time and in it you can see colonial houses that function as offices, some as hotels and in very few where families from the city reside, on this occasion I share with you my visit to the Athenaeum of the city of Cumaná, this is located on the aforementioned Bolívar Street, very close to the old government building and stands out for its design of colonial origin, wide windows, long corridors and a central patio where the families of this time used to cultivate and condition a space for horses.
Saludos amigos de #Hive y comunidad @visualshots, deseo que tengan una excelente y bendecida semana en unión de sus seres queridos, estos días han sido muy ocupados, realizando diligencias con mi hijo las cuales nos llevaron a la calle Bolívar donde se ubican algunas construcciones de origen colonial, es una calle típica de esta época y en ella se pueden observar casas coloniales que funcionan como oficinas, algunas como hoteles y en muy pocas donde residen familias de la ciudad, en esta ocasión les comparto mi visita al ateneo de la ciudad de Cumaná este se ubica en la mencionada calle Bolívar, muy cerca del antiguo edificio de la gobernación y destaca por su diseño de origen colonial, amplias ventanas largos pasillos y un patio central donde las familias de esta época solían cultivar y acondicionar un espacio para los caballos.
The athenaeum offers a series of courses to the public, such as clay modeling, painting, and more. It also has a large library, where you can research artisans, sculptors, and painters from the city and the country. The house is very pretty and sits on a corner. It's blue with black bars and large windows. What I liked most was its decoration with sculptures made of wood, clay, and iron, as well as various paintings that adorn the walls. The main door is made of wood, and from there you can see a long hallway that leads to the end.
El ateneo ofrece una serie de cursos a la población como moldeado en arcilla pintura y más, también cuenta con una gran biblioteca, donde puedes investigar sobre los artesanos y escultores y pintores de la ciudad y el país, la casa es muy bonita y se encuentra en una esquina, es de color azul con rejas negras y grandes ventanales, lo que más me gustó fue su decoración con esculturas de; Madera, arcilla, hierro varios cuadros que adornan las paredes, la puerta principal es de madera y desde allí se observa un largo pasillo que conduce hasta el final.
On the left side are the halls and on the other side a small patio or corridor, the decoration of the athenaeum is very pretty and my attention was caught by a wooden sculpture where you can see a couple of dancers, then we found a very nice hand painted painting where you can see the shape of the athenaeum highlighting the corner, there is also a wooden sculpture by Antonio José de Sucre, also an abstract wooden figure that caught my attention, I was trying to understand what it was about but I could not find the meaning, it looks like a chain of several sections that join together, it is next to a colorful painting, near this painting is another that represents the life of the city at that time, the floor is made of tiles with very pretty designs, it is original and corresponds to the one that was placed when the house was built, the repairs that have been made try as much as possible to conserve the original design to preserve its validity and style over the centuries.
Al lado izqquierdo se ubican los salones y al otro lado un pequeño patio o corredor, la decoración del ateneo es muy bonita y me llamó la atención una escultura de madera donde se observa a una pareja de bailarines, luego nos encontramos con un cuadro muy bonito pintado a mano donde se aprecia la forma del ateneo resaltando la esquina, también hay una escultura en madera de Antonio José de Sucre, además una figura abstracta en madera que llamó mi atención, estuve tratando de entender de qué se trataba pero no logré dar con el significado, parece una cadena de varios tramos que se unen, está al lado de un cuadro colorido, cerca de este cuadro se encuentra otro que representa la vida de la ciudad en esa época, el piso es de loza con diseños muy bonitos, es original y corresponde al que se colocó cuando se construyó la casa, las reparaciones que se han realizado tratan en lo posible de conservar el diseño original para preservar su vigencia y estilo en el transcurso de los siglos.
