(D) Diese zwei SUP-Paddler habe ich am Strand von Los Caños de Meca (Spanien) an der andalusischen Atlantikküste fotografiert. Delfine abzulichten wäre mir schon lieber gewesen, doch hat mir der Kontrast zwischen der Unendlichkeit des atlantischen Ozeans, der enormen grösse des Mega-Frachters auf dem Horizont und der beiden Menschen, welche zwar im Vordergrund des Bildes einen Platz gefunden haben, aber dabei trotzdem verlierend klein wirken, gefallen. Ich selbst stand/sass erst einmal auf einem SUP, da ich mich eher unter der Meeresoberfläche bewege und lieber die Unterwasserwelt erkunde.
Hinter dem Horizont und Mega-Frachter versteckt sich nicht mehr sehr weit draussen die marokkanische Küste.
(ENG) I photographed these two SUP paddlers on the beach of Los Caños de Meca (Spain) on the Andalusian Atlantic coast. To photograph dolphins I would have preferred, but I liked the contrast between the infinity of the Atlantic Ocean, the enormous size of the mega freighter on the horizon and the two people, which have found a place in the foreground of the picture, but still seem losing small. I myself stood / sat only once on a SUP, because I move rather below the sea surface and prefer to explore the underwater world.
Behind the horizon and mega freighter hides no longer very far outside the Moroccan coast.
(ESP) Fotografié a estos dos remeros de SUP en la playa de Los Caños de Meca (España), en la costa atlántica andaluza. Hubiera preferido fotografiar delfines, pero me gustó el contraste entre la infinitud del océano Atlántico, el enorme tamaño del megacarguerero en el horizonte y las dos personas, que han encontrado un lugar en el primer plano de la imagen, pero que siguen pareciendo desoladoramente pequeñas. Yo mismo sólo me he subido a un SUP una vez, ya que suelo moverme por debajo de la superficie del mar y prefiero explorar el mundo submarino.
Tras el horizonte y los mega cargueros, la costa marroquí se esconde no muy lejos.
