Last month I went to an event that was held in the facilities of a park, and inside that park there is a swimming pool that was never finished.
I don't know how old it is, I was told probably more than 20 years, the truth is that today, this abandoned place has become a lagoon.
Certainly people don’t swim there, but there are other living beings that do, for example turtles and toads, was what I observed during my visit. I also saw many birds passing by to refresh themselves in its green waters.
And it was this color that caught my attention, you might think it is dirty water, but I found its intense hue visually appealing, and since there is life there, it is surely not polluted.
I really liked how the trees looked reflected in the water, and that's why I took this series of photos and I had thought of editing them in black and white because they would surely stand out more, but as I said, I loved this green, and I decided to leave them like this, what do you think?
El mes pasado fui a un evento que se realizó en las instalaciones de un parque, y dentro de ese parque hay una piscina que nunca se terminó.
No sé cuántos años tendrá así, me dijeron que probablemente más de 20, lo cierto es que hoy en día, este lugar abandonado se ha convertido en una laguna.
Ciertamente la gente no nada allí, pero hay otros seres vivos que sí, por ejemplo tortugas y sapos, fue lo que observé durante mi visita. También vi muchas aves que pasaron a refrescarse en sus verdes aguas.
Y fue este color lo que me llamó la atención, se podría pensar que es agua sucia, pero su intenso tono me pareció visualmente atractivo, y como hay vida allí, seguramente no está contaminada.
Me gustó mucho cómo se veían los árboles reflejados en el agua, y por eso hice esta serie de fotos y había pensado en editarlas en blanco y negro porque seguro resaltarían más, pero como dije, amé este verde, y decidí dejarlas así, ¿qué opinan?

A mí también me gusta el verde, el reflejo de los árboles en la piscina lo hace visualmente muy atractivo, además.

I always thought that ponds hosting any life form, are more useful than chlorinated swimming pools!
And with a few waterlilies and some goldfish this one can be lovely :)

Hahaha right! Pools aren't my thing either. Your idea is great 😊, I think there were some fish too but I couldn't see what kind they were.
